McKnight and Powell expected to miss this weeks game with injuries leaving just Shonn Greene and Rookie Jon Grimes left on the teams roster.

I Guess we can expect 58 passes from Sanchez but I would not be surprised to be Tebow lining up at FB.

With both secondaries in deep despair,It's going to be a game filled with lots of passing for sure.

If I was the Pats DC I would tee off on Sanchez with the D-line, have Spikes spy the RB and play 5 and 6 DBs the entire game.

Bad news for the pats. The last thing we want is Sanchez throwing the ball all over the place.

This should confirm that Tebow won't be a factor. It's a lot harder for him to do his stuff when he doesn't have a fast RB who can threaten the corner on the sweep.

Lets see..Jest plan: Wing it down field... :(. Tebows best day, Sanchez best day. ..But pats win big. I think the corners have a good day. Finally

I'm not sure that's a bad thing for the Jets given the Patriots inability to defend the pass.

If Hightower's healthy, then IMO you have to have him, Spikes, and Mayo in the game as much as possible. The talent gap between Hightower and whoever would be on the field as the dime back (Dowling and Moore?) is just too large.

man do the jets have a **** ton of injuries

Well I'm sure Jets fans want them to have O running backs against us. That means Sanchez throws for 400 yds against our JV trash squad and Brady will be in the high 300yds like he always is with Welker getting 15 catches and Lloyd getting the occasional "wow" grab tippy toeing out of bounds. We'll probably have a 2-6 point lead with 2 minutes left(as usual one of those odd number leads that has defense choke written all over it).

Jets will score with 45 ticks left, the media will say Sanchez is coming of age, and then we'll have the ball and throw a bunch of deflected passes to Deion Branch after Welker has a 200 yd day. :)

They look to be without Pouha and his back up Kendrick Ellis. The Pats should run the ball at will too.

Can "Tim the Superman" play WR????

Lets not Forget the Ryan factor...he has and can get in Brady's head. Ryan can scheme to make it uncomfortable for Brady. I have alot of respect for the way he calls a Defense. This Game is not Gimme for the Patriots by any stretch of the imagination. P.s. Steven Hill looks a fine pick he's learning how to play WR in the pros he's going to be a Beast for years to come.Sure wished we took the flier on him.

Hope the Pats aren't down RBs as well. I haven't heard anything about Bolden's knee.

Hopefully this is a game where Ridley can get his swagger back.

I don't know if my glass eyes were deceiving me but i thought Bolden looked mich better than Ridley Sunday.

Well considering that Greene teed off for 150 yards last week, I think he'll be enough for the Jets. Unfortunately for them, the Pats defense is a bad matchup for a big slow powerback. I predict Greene does not sniff 100 yards on our defense, he'll be hard pressed to even get to 80 yards imo.

I'm just not convinced that the Jets will ever allow Tebow to see significant minutes. He'll be a decoy more than anything else. And imo that's just fine. I'd rather face the predictably bad Sanchez for 90% of the snaps. Tebow may not throw the football well, but he makes some crazy plays happen by either using his feet or staying alive long enough for coverage to break down.

Actually that's exactly what we want. Sanchez is third to last in QB Rating, has a completion percentage under 50% and throws a lot of picks as well, only 8tds vs 6 picks. What's not to like?

There is not one doubt in my mind that because this game is practically seen by the entire nation,Rex will be out to show some surprises and Tebow without a doubt will be in the plans.

I would think Tebow lined up in a Wildcat or used as a halfback will be a likely type of gimmick used on sunday.

Expect the unexpected when Rex goes for his annual Super Bowl regular season game at Gillette

I suspect the reason Tebow hasnt been seen much all season is because Rex wanted to unveil some surprise for this particular game. So wont be surprised if they throw something totally new at us like sparano did once with the wildcat.

Relax
I will be back from Italy and at the game
Victory is assured, even if I have to suit up at FS

There is no doubt something will be up Rex sleeves, and I don't mean Devil Dogs

The fact that Seattle tried a trick play that worked to perfection and a 30+ yard gain, only makes it more obvious Rex is going to be a tricky coach on sunday.

Personally I have no idea why teams don't devise plans to have the QB fake the pass then give it to the WR to throw a deep pass for trick plays against this secondary....unless the receiver can't pass,is there any possible chance the pass won't be caught for a long gain?
