Because this is the worst the AFC's been in years. The two most dominant teams in the AFC are Houston and Ravens. The Ravens just lost two of their best starters on defense, so that's a concern. As for Houston, let's just say they did not look impressive last night.

Do you guys realize how lucky we are that the AFC only has three teams above .500 right now, and one of which is the Chargers who'll find a way to blow it anyways?? What if this was like 2004 when the AFC had four teams that went 12-4 or better??

The Pats are not very behind the top of the AFC right now, let's remember that.

I don't think it's the 3-3 record that has people concerned chap.

I for one am thrilled that the Pats are mired in mediocrity right now and tied with the Jets, bills and dolphins.....couldn't be in a better situation

I was thinking about it earlier and I've concluded that pretty much every team in the league sucks this year. It's not parity, it's just bad play from every single team. Even the undefeated Falcons look crappy.

Every team has crap happen sometime during the game, whether its a PI,illegal penalty, turnover or failed possession ect:

What separates the crap teams from solid teams are the crap teams find ways to lose games by making more crap pile up and unbearable to get out from while the solid teams play crappy during the game but find a way to win.....Atlanta has survived thus far.

would you rather then be 3-3 and MIA or Buff at 5-1 or 4-2? :bricks:

I would rather simply win games that the team has let slip away then be tied with these other 3 teams that should all be picking in the top 15 picks in 2013

Last year might've been a worse year for the AFC. Baltimore was really the only real threat, Houston had their 3rd stringer at QB by year's end.

It's hard for this year to be worse unless Houston has another rash of injuries and nobody else steps up. The Chargers still have a chance to be good, Pittsburgh has a slim shot if they ever get relatively healthy - Big Ben against this defense makes them a threat to us anyday.

It was another tough loss. But honestly maybe it isn't even a bad thing. We all just want this one thing. Another Super Bowl win. This is the regular season. If being at .500 makes the team tougher and makes them work harder it might not be a bad thing.

For example take the Giants last year. Everybody knew they had talent but just couldn't perform as good as they wanted in the earlier stages of the season. Romo could have ended their season easily. But they made it and peaked at the right time. They had a tough road to the Super Bowl but maybe this tough road made them mentally prepared enough to never give up even though it might look bad the moment.

I couldn't care less if they look like the best team of all time right now. Been there and we all know how painfully that one ended. The AFC is really weak this year so playing against the NFC West might benefit them in the long haul

Guess what...it's week 6..not everything goes according to plan...deal with it

as usual the same things that has plagued this team for years has reared its ugly head... the offense cant close out games and the defense cant make a cruical stops... talk about chicken littles all you want.. this team is not a 3-3 team... but it is what it is and its seems like.. well 10-6 and 11-5 is right around the corner... they still will win the divsion , but doubtful no bye... and another year of tom brady's carrer wasted because bill belichick picks special teamers as starting cb and safteys.. hello bill earthwind moreland is not walking thrue that door... its not working anymore...

We couldn't HAVE choseN a better year to start out 3-3...

Seriously, the fack is wrong with the grammar in this country??

The bright side I can think of is that hopefully some of these tough losses will get the team better prepared for the playoffs than previous years where we've steamrollered everyone to the #1 seed.
