Belichick: Patriots Loss to Seahawks Was Just 'One of those Days'

Couldn't understand why with so little time on the clock (which was another one of BB miscues yesterday) he didn't take the three points, its not like seattle is some offensive jugernaught. In the end it would have won the game.

Because they actually prepare for and practice that situation, and know that 6 seconds is enough to run a play and leave time for the FG.
There is no reason not to run the play and try for the TD. Brady made a poor decision. That doesn't make the correct decision wrong, unless your argument is putting the ball in Tom Bradys hands is stupid.

Seriously, I hate coming here after a loss because its just a stupid exercise of so many fans feeling entitled to have a win, so they decide to come up with thier own favorite personal reason to rip someone, and feel better about it, whether it makes sense or not.
Running a play there was the right thing to do. Blowing the 10 seconds before that was a vital error.

maybe belichick is reading all these comments about the terrible secondary and poor drafting and realizes the beat way to get top talent is tank the season...

:p

A harsh lot we have here at pats fan.com

While it always sucks to lose a game, you have to figure it is going to happen. If we brought our A game, how many teams in the laegue would actually be able to compete (maybe 1-2).

The only way we are going to lose is if we bring our C- to B- game and other teams bring their A game. Basically, the only way we lose is if we make mistakes. If this was baseball and it was a best of 7 series, there would be a handful of teams..maybe...that could take a series from us. Football is juts less forgiving because it's one game only.

Good teams win games when they don't bring their A game.

Not always.

Are you saying this team isn't good because they didn't win or just weren't good enough this last sunday. I mean it's one thing to be outclassed and lose with dignity and its another to muff enough plays to lose you the game. Would you feel better if you switched the 2 halves around so they had a terrible first half, but showed some play making ability in the second half, but then lost a close game?

Patriots are becoming Jose Valverdesque. Can't close for ****.

Ive mentioned talking about, clock management during the last minute or so before we got the ball back. And again seattle isn't a high scoring team, (they are however on of the top defenses in the league) theres not a need to go for TD's every time we get our hands on the ball. The bottom line not grabbing those three points cost us the game. Don't bother jumping in to answer any of my posts, your nothing but a blind homer (the biggest on this forum) that will make any excuse for anything BB and the team does. I want a little balance, a little Objectivity, not what is in essence, a troll in reverse. While some here Never have anything good to say about the team, your the opposite, BB and the team, the organization can do No Wrong, they Never make a mistake

So you know I am right, so come up with that crap:rolleyes:
They got the ball deep in + territory. You want them to sit on it? The same argument that says 3 was important says 6 was more important than 3.
There was enough time to run the play, that is a fact. Brady made a poor decision. That doesn't make the choice to put the ball in his hands bad.

You pick out one season 10 years ago as proof of 'here we go again' and you think I'm the one on drugs:rolleyes:

who said that......every season is on its own merits......you're the one fantasizing that these problems are typical of a team that will inevitably be there in the end
