My Apologies to Mr. Jones and the Offensive Line

I'm sure that the OL and Mr. Jones take great comfort in your apologies.

And Tom, the next time you get into the red zone, please make sure you come out with points (a couple of FG's would have made the difference), instead of throwing int's and being called for intentional grounding.

Then the defense and the young secondary won't have to take all the blame on message boards.

Sincerely,

PATSNUTme

Everyone finds it easy to blame the D in a game like this..yet they should be looking at the other side of the ball

horrible devastating 1 point loss to Seattle in Seattle...losing to an NFC team is devastating to our entire season....I'm with Baltimoron "Pats"fan and Sean PA(thetic)...I've had it...let's all run over to Jets Insider and sign up so we can root for a REAL team...who's with me???

OG!!! OG!! OG!!!

This might be a inflammatory question tonight but I didn't see the game (hence disappointed to read Brady's bad mistakes) and haven't researched into it: when was the last that we won coming from behind?

Ummm . . . . I dunno, maybe TWO WEEKS AGO?

ROFL!

Thank you for the laugh of the day.

Brady passed 58 times, the OL gave up 5 QB hits against the #1 defense in the nfl and OL didn't do their job???

I'm not saying they played horrible, but I think it's a huge stretch to consider them the second star of the game. It just feels like people are looking at the boxscore to make that evaluation. If the OL gave up 3 sacks (which easily could have happened if Brady didn't intentionally ground the ball), I doubt they'd get a special call-out.

They played okay, but they definitely didn't control the DL, they were dominated in the run game, and the pocket was compromised quite a bit. I certainly wouldn't put that performance over everyone but Jones.

What about WWW's huge game? What about Hernandez making a big contribution first game back, especially early on? What about Woody's huge plays in crucial situations? What about Spikes in the run game? Or Ghost being perfect despite his recent struggles?

It just seems ridiculous to claim the OL as the second-biggest contributor tonight. They played okay. Might as well make Mesko third star since he was okay too (last punt was mediocre).

The last drive....you mean the one where the defense could tee off because we had no choice but to pass. Yeah.....that's the O-lines fault

When's the last time OUR Defense teed off on an offense that they knew had to pass ? Woulda been nice if they did that the last two Seattle drives.

It would be very, very nice but we don't have a defensive line like Seattle has right now.

The offensive line deserves their share of culpability in the loss, too.

They got tooled on in the run game and by the 2nd half the Seahawks pass rush was making noise with regularity.

1 point loss and we stunk up the joint, especially in the 2nd half.

If the team can learn from the mistakes and get healthier, then all isn't lost. Naturally we are depreseed with the seconday, but hasn't the last few seasons shown us the work in progress isn't experiencing huge leaps of improvements. We hoped the secondary would be better because the DLine looked better.

I think the biggest difference i nthe game was the scrambling/accuracy of Seattle's QB (though our defense seems to make evceryone look like the next coming of Tom Brady).

Ultimately, this was a team loss as any 1 area could have stepped up and made the difference. Not that I expect BB to be happy. When people made early year record predictions (like 12-4) did they expect that every game was going to be a "best" effort? Not likely, call this one their serious clunker and let's see what type of character the team has for next week.

Uuuuummmm teed off might not be the right term, but they forced a three and out on that second to last drive, which gave the offense the ball at mid-field.
