Greetings and just a really tough L to take when i am sure all over the NFL ,,people must have thought with under 10 minutes to go, up by 13 pts, Pats had this game . My question and sorry if another thread spoke on this,,but was i the only one who thought Danny Woodhead was our best weapon in the running game, especially in the fourth quarter ?! I was virtualy screaming "GIVE IT TO WOODY" on that last INT by Brady in the fourth quarter,,i think on 3rd and 1 . Hawks were struggling to see him whenever he ran at them !! He was our secret weapon that was not used enough. I blame this loss on the Coaches. Still we look ok for the Division and maybe this will be a real wake up call for us,,,especially the Coaches ! In Bill we trust. GO PATS. Abdul

Danny has been and continues to be a rock for this team.

I hope BB and Caserio are working on the Re up.

This Woodhead on the block nonsense is just that. Nonsense.

He was one of the few bright spots yesterday. He's really developed a knack for making clutch plays that keep the chains moving.

While there are those who want to deify this guy, he is a situational back that adds a nice dimension to our offense game... he is not an everydown back.

Of course not.

But there are those that suggest he should be cut.

He makes plays in key situations.

And is worthy of a roster spot.

At the start of the season, I wasn't too impressed with him, but the last few weeks he has been brilliant! And has kept drives alive!

Woodhead is the most clutch player on this offense right now.

Woody has proven to be a reliable play-maker on third down situations. Definitely a bright spot in yesterday's lousy game.

Woodhead = our new Kevin Faulk

as good as it is to see, the reemergence of woodhead really only means one thing when it comes to the RB's on the team, and it isn't good

3rd and short near goal line and they freaking pass instead of letting him pound it in? unbelievable.

All I'll say is Woodhead is much more of a lightning back than a thunder back.

In case no one notices.....Woodhead has always excelled at running the ball against bigger, stronger, taller DLs because they simply cannot get down lower to the point of tackling Woody and are simply not as adept to dealing with midgets.

Against small, faster defensive fronts such as Arizona,he struggles more.

Fail...Woody brings a skill set the others do not except maybe Vareen but he has to show he can blitz pick up and play in the passing game before he can take any critical snaps. Woody on the other hand has shown time and time again that he is a very solid replacement for Faulk and has been for a few years now.

wrong. woodhead was out there because one guy ahead of him was ineffective and the other one got hurt.

BTW, bolden was running the ball effectively before he got hurt.

That's funny a few weeks ago, some idiots on this board were calling for him to be cut.

he's good depth, but he's the 3rd stringer.......the fact that after running the ball for 9 yards on 2 carries, the pats decided to throw in INT on 3rd and one still show a lack of confidence in this guy

Or a lack of confidence in the line.

Or a lack of confidence in the line.

all things considered, the line has done well as of late and has come a long way since training camp. at least thank god for scar.

the pats were moving the ball on the ground ..... IMO if you can move the ball on the ground, you move the ball on the ground

I agree, but the Pats only ran it between the tackles once out of five attempts at 3rd and short. That combined with not going for it on 4th and less than 1 on the Seahawks 6 makes me think their lack of faith was on the line and not Woodhead.
