we're not making the playoffs...super hero poster of the year Sean Pa(thetic) has ruled the Pats mediocre...I don't know what I'm gonna do Ice...you got any ideas???

You might remind him that the last two SB winners were 10-6 and 9-7, and both had a .500 record in November. No one believes me, but I'm actually glad we are 3-3. Unless you are a stacked veteran team, you don't know how to get better until you realize how teams can beat you.

well...I'm going to have to dock you ten demerits for glass half full behavior...even if what you say is very astute...because..well...it's these one point loss things...they are so horrible and leave you with an empty feeling...or, well, half empty....and until the Patriots do what the CL's cluck for after any loss, firing EVERYBODY and cutting Brady, I don't think I can EVER be optimistic EVER AGAIN...but I'll stick around...just in case...you know...we win a game...or a few games...but, uh, don't force me to optimistic because that's just wrong...OK?...this is my two cents...

@iceicebrady I completely agree. I hate losing but if it had to happen im glad it happened now and not in the playoffs. Im tired of this team thinking that every team will be just a cake walk..... you can't think that. They need to refuse to lose not play to win. They need to have that 01 mentality when no one was giving them a chance and they proved every one wrong. Its time for this team to know what it feels like to be "mediocre" so that they strive to do better to never feel that way again!

What bothers me is Lloyd is he is always off balance when he attempts to or makes a catch. Brady had him for a 60 yd TD, but the dude just tripped up. I love Lloyd's effort, you can see how hard he's trying to make plays out there. Maybe he's thinking too much. Those sideline catches take so much out of a qb and a receiver to perfect and execute. I wish he could simplify his game a bit more

No. Brady was off today. Numerous times he missed open receivers. Gronk in the ez on the near pick, for example. How many intentional grounding calls? From the guy who changed the course of the last super bowl with one?! Wtf! Brady looked like dog dookie, period. If I catch too much flak for this comment I'll go back and document every pass play. It seemed like half the time he dropped back to pass be was ******* up the throws (second half anyway). How many near interceptions? How many poor decisions to target well covered receivers?

too bad it looks like they lost him with a seperated shoulder on that stupid throw

Seriously with this crap? Leaning/diving sideline catches are part of the requirements for an outside receiver. Since Lllllllllloyd doesn't usually get much separation, his catches are bound to be more of the difficult variety.

Welcome to NFL football.

Yup, Llyod is making the catches outside the numbers the Pats have paid him too. Llyod has never got good separation through out his career. But he seems to always make the catches in tight coverage, outside the numbers.

hope he is ok. that catch would have been awesome

Lloyd seems to make me say "wow" once a game or so. I'm glad he's out there, and hope he stays healthy.

Nobody else on the team can work the sidelines like he can. If he goes down, the defense won't be as compelled to cover the field's width.

i think they should let slater run some routes if lloyd can't go. i've been waiting three years to see this guy play. wait, did slater get hurt on punt coverage?

how old is he? he looks like he's 15 with glasses :lol2:

Brandon Lloyd may be injured, but no one is talking | ProFootballTalk

It’s the Patriot Way to not give away any information about injured players prematurely. Even then, all we ever get is the absolute minimum. So we’ll wait for the Wednesday injury report for clues as to whether and to what extent Lloyd practices. And we’ll wait for Friday for an official label for Lloyd. And, ultimately, we’ll wait for Sunday as to whether he suits up and plays against the Jets.

They can beat the jets without him..but hopefully he plays

Well... We didn't have him last year and we swept the Jets. That's a good sign.

It really won't matter if Chung plays or not. You could put a cardboard sign back there and it would defend the pass better than Chung. Bolden i would be pissed if he can't go.

Just awesome that yet another Brady overthrow might potentially cost us our deep threat WR for a week or more.

If you're going to miss on a deep sideline throw, that's the best way to do it.

Chung sucks, but that doesn't mean that Ebner can't be worse. Let's hope that Gregory's back this week.

mort reported it was just a bruised shoulder
