The Patriots used to always win the close ones.

Can't even get a first down with over a minute to go.

Defense can't stop when the game is on the line.

Because the pats use to go for it on 1st..not run twice in a row then pass. They need to be more aggressive.

Arz. O stunk. Balt...could get a drive going late in 4th..today again...couldn't get a drive going late in 4th..i see a pattern here..

Oh this will be fun. I'm happy the Patriots lost not because they're a rival (because I think they'll go 11-5 and win the division, so I'm not really following their wins/losses much), but because the Jets now travel to New England to face the pissed off Patriots. With the Dolphins having a bye, I can hopefully enjoy the Jets getting smacked around a week before playing us. We need to knock those fu--ers into last place.

If I remember, didn't the Patriots get upset and then come back the next week and destroy the Jets with like 50 points around 2 seasons ago? I just remember that happening, and I hope it happens again. EDIT - looked on Wikipedia...2010 they beat the Jets 45-3, then the Jets lost at home to Miami 10-6. Hoping for a similar two weeks (except with miami scoring more than 10 points).

I really only say it twice a year...go Patriots this week!

Wilson is weak too, and a rookie, and what happened? Yeah I can't believe there is still people looking opmistic right now

Wilson is way better than Sanchez.

Sanchez was 11 completions 19 attempts for 82 yards today.

We are seeing what kind of team the Patriots are. The offense racks up gobs of yards but continues to make key mistakes and fails to execute under pressure. The secondary is in complete shambles with the worst performance of a terrible year. All of the mistakes on display today are not aberrations--they are recurring. Even the coaching. With the ball in the red zone and time on the clock, the veteran coach and QB inexcusably mismanaged the clock to come away with nothing. Didn't that happen in the Cardinals game as well? This team has earned their record. The Jets are coming off a big win will face a Patriots team coming off the one of worst losses in the BB/TB era. Lloyd and Slater injuries looked and sound bad and I would be surprised if they play. Bolden has a bad knee and Chung a shoulder, meaning the safeties that finished the game could well be the starters Sun. Imagine what it would be like here if Rex Ryan comes in and beats this team at home.

Should be 3-3.

In those 3 losses there was collectively only a 4 point difference. 5-1 or better could have been a reality. This team is much better than their record says. They just need to tighten up their secondary. I've seen worse and I know I'll see better.

I with ya CheeseMonkeys. I'm not going to dwell on this loss and let it get me down. Unfortunate that too many things went wrong but the good news is that the team will learn from this, grow, and become stronger. I know I'm saying a ton of cliche's but I'm not giving up on our Patriots at all.

LETS GO PATS!!!

And to all you haters out there... GFY!

wait...he only had 82 yards today? wow

I really hope the pats take out all their anger from this game out on the jets on sunday...

Well if the pats played the way today against the jest on Sunday, it should be an complete blow out.

But we shall see.

No gimmes anymore with team. Both teams are average teams with glaring issues. No proof the pats are better than the jets or vice versa. I can see the pats winning by 14 and I can also see them losing badly with Sanchez having a huge game throwing 3tds and 300+ yards. Yes the secondary is that bad. The storyline of this game is a tale of two average teams trying to win a lousy division.

well..they had greene running for over 150 yards so he didnt need to throw as much. This is going to be tough game. The jets after last 2 weeks disasters having won today and us losing will suddenly be very confident and I expect some trick and schemes not shown before in the last few weeks to show up in this game.

Indy had (worse now) the 27th ranked run defense in the NFL.

82 passing yards is not going to cut it in Foxboro.

Sure but our pass defense will allow sanchez more completions. Every team in AFC E can beat the pats and vice versa. No gimmes. This pats team is not mentally strong to close games out convincingly . Reminds me of the 2008 team. There used to be a stat in old Pats teams that pats are 18-1 or something when leading at the half or 4th Q.not anymore.

Sorry but i see this as a almost must win for the pats and i bet they see the same thing. When it's a must win besides playoffs..they play pretty well

Indy isn't that great, especially against the run which is how the Jets won (plus some costly Luck turnovers). I mean, they lost at home to the Jaguars, who may be the worst team in the league.

Still think the Jets are going to fall to 4th place in a few weeks, but we'll see. AFC especially is wildy unpredictable (and exciting) this year.

A nice 34-13 Pats win would be good enough to listen to Jets fans freak out on WFAN.

Rex on why he tweaks the Pats: "I want them to know .,. I think we're going to beat them."

Umm Isn't the Seahawk's offense supposed to be weak?

Was that Montana in Wilson's uni today?

Sanchez might look like Elway the way the Pats secondary is playing.

Josh has to get his head out of his butt on the playcalling down close in.

Why a pass when the run game was getting two yds per attempt? Woodhead wa getting more than 2.

Why not take the sure FG instead of getting "cute" and going for a TD ?

Players and coaches as well as Brady choked on this winnable game.

The differences between the Seahawks and the Jets are the at QB play and the running games.

The Seahawks picked up half of their yards in the air on four plays that went for more than 46 yards each. Sanchez can't throw the ball that far. He was all of 11 for 18 for 82 yards against the Colts.

Shonn Green and Joe McKnight exploded for 232 yards on the ground against the Colts - I doubt that could ever happen against Vince and the front seven of the Patriots.

Well..they have nothing to lose. They may pull out some trick plays they might have been saving just for this game and considering the psyche of our team it could affect them

What trick plays? A tebow run in punt formation on 4th and 3? That's expected

The wildcat?
