do you think, when Rex is fired from the jets in the near future...that Bill would be willing to hire him as DC?

Bill would obviously ask him to talk less, and as a Coord. instead of HC he wont have as many chances w/ the media...

I would imagine that he is much more interested in building on the current young(er) coaches of Matt Patricia and/or Pepper Johnson, not to mention that he has their loyalty and respect.

It seems like there are always good DC's out there, but we tend to stay in house, and I think that will continue.

The thread is tongue in cheek. I can certainly recall predictions of 9-7 during the Buffalo game, possibly worse. Many doomsday fans were condemning this team to mediocrity or worse way too early, which is the point of the thread.

However, if the Patriots manage to lose today, I'll be steering clear of the board for a couple days. I just can't deal with all the Chicken Littles that seem to relish in misery, doom and gloom.

Patriots D blows. Worst I have ever seen. No pressure and poor coverage and ball skills for the DBs. The DBs cannot play football period. And it seemed like the deep the game went, the worse Brady got.
