Title says it all.

I haven't heard his name too often, which is good for an OT. However Brady seems to be under more pressure this year. Admittedly I don't pay much attention to Solder on the field. Can anyone give a review of his play so far?

I think he does an excellent job in run blocking—lots of runs up the left side, including most of the rushing TD's on Sunday. I think he still struggles a bit on pass protection, but he's getting better.

He isn't Matt Light (yet!) but he's been good so far and he will only get better as he gets stronger & more experienced.

He seems to get better every week after an awful preseason, great run blocker especially when pulling.

He could still stand to improve, but he's come a long way since his awful preseason performances. Most of the pressure on Brady seems to be coming up the A and B gaps.

If you do not hear an O-Tackles name too often, that is a good sign..

I think Nate Solder and Sebass Vollmer will be perennial Pro Bowlers Starting this year. Solder and Vollmer are much improved at Run Blocking...both are better than Matt Light ever was at Pass Blocking. I think Solder's uninspired play in the preseason was dew to the of the lack of continuity
along the OL.

I have not lost any sleep over Solder this season.

Tom Brady has not gone on IR.

passing and running attacks = excellent

Solder = A

He has been doing well but I cringed seeing him get totally bullrushed in the Pats endzone against the Broncos. Not sure which Bronco it was but they blew him up something fierce.

Well he has got some big shoes to fill! But he is doing a good job :D

Well the habitual complainers aren't talking about him so he must be doing pretty well.

You must have lurked this forum for quite some time before registering. If you wish to call me a habitual complainer, then I'll be more than happy to engage you in a multi-page pissing contest with the intensity and fury of a thousand Suns. :D

He has eight posts....

Yeah i remember that one. I think that was Dumervil.

Solder has definitely stepped up his play from preseason.

Personally i can't remember a Sack as a direct result of solder getting beat on a rush.

Only times i can remember him being beat are with the bull rush once or twice but usually (luckily) the ball has been out before there was a problem.
