When Brady gets the play in through the headset could the coaches actually tell Brady if he is getting pressured? Example Solder gets beat and 1 of the coaches say Left for left tackle or something. Do they do that and is that even possible? Back to the new Sam Adams Pumpkin spice Yum :rocker: P.S If they can do it maybe one of the Coaches can put something in Devins helmet to tell him to turn the heck around :rocker:

I see where you are going, but the rules says the communications remain active until 15 seconds are left on the play clock or the snap of the ball, whichever comes first.
So they are not used during live action.

But funny you should bring this up, a patriots hater today attacked me with a new conspiracy that it is likely the Pats are cheating again with someone communicating with Brady that a rusher may be beating his blocker and this is why he keeps seeing ghost.

this was actually a conspiracy theory posted by a broncos fan on their forum and he was blasted into oblivion by his fellow Denver fans who ridiculed his theory...... we got to understand that in the past 10-11 years teams have risen and fallen some have just peaked for a season or two (Read JESTS) Pats are the only team which have consistently contested for the playoffs, this drives other fans mad and hence the stupid urban legend type theories........ it makes me proud as a Pats fan that ppl come up with such out of this world explanation for the awesome play of this team :rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker:

Haha...reminds of the thanksgiving game in Detroit. Some twit called into Sirius nfl the next day thinking the pats hacked into the dressing room. It was his only logical reason for the pats dominating the second half.

Sorry for the bad sentence structure. I'm using my phone.

Cheers

The helmet radio is supplied by the league and monitored during games. If they were to communicate after 15 seconds or the snap of the ball it would be known my the officiating crew.

From reading around various websites that stupid Spygate book claims as fact Brady has a 2nd transmission in his helmet that stays on when the official channel shuts off

pretty sure the helmets are inspected, and that the actual communications are controlled by a league employee... so whoever wrote that is pretty much ******ed.

at least, thats how mike pereira relayed it.

I think the title of the book and subject matter shows the intellect of the person who wrote it!

Passing off commonly heard falsities as fact then selling it to what I can only assume is a target audience of Steelers fans and JI.

I always thought that BB was listening to the sounds of Bon Jovi in his headset:D:D:D

And anyone who would actually pay for something like that is doubly so.

The problem for the conspiracy theorists is that they don't bother to see if the actual results back up their hare-brained concoctions. For example, if Brady was receiving instructions after the 15 second cut-off and actually during the play, how come Brady through at least 12 INTs and never more than 30 TDs until the 2007 season? If the team had this huge advantage (and the haters believe it was massive), how come they didn't go undefeated every year?

Sadly, they probably have an even crazier theory to explain that.
