WRONG!!! As we've all learned earlier this season, we can't take the NFC West lightly anymore. Despite not scoring above 20 points in four out of five games, Seattle is 3-2 because of an incredible defense that stifled teams like the Cowboys, Packers, and Panthers. They are a legit top 5 defense this year. And unlike our stadium, theirs is pretty loud! I'm worried! :(

check into the local coma ward...have them induce one and tell the nurse to wake you up in a couple of weeks...it will be all over by then. No worries....AND...they give you cake to eat when you come out of it!

Should we destroy the StoolHawks? Yes. Will we? Prolly. Do they scare me? No. Do Banjoes scare me? Only in Tennessee.

I could see the Pats having a lot of success on the ground again. The Seahawks use 320-pound Red Bryant as a defensive end on early downs and then 245-pound Bruce Irvin as a situational pass rusher. Get into a passing situation, convert that, and then go no-huddle and pound the ball at Irvin repeatedly. Seems easy enough in theory.

Matt Cassel led the Pats in a game in Seattle in which they committed zero false starts (and, in fact, zero penalties of any kind).

If Seattle's O moves the ball and puts up points on the Patriots D, we should all start to be concerned. The Seahawks D and crowd are equalizers. Take them out of the game and the Patriots should be OK.

We should take any game seriously. Other teams come to play, too, and actually have decent players. I've been saying for weeks that Seattle won't be an easy game. But there's certainly no reason to think that we shouldn't be able to prevail if we play well. The Seahawks don't have much of an offense, and our offense has too many weapons for anyone to stop if we play well.

I'm really interested in seeing that excellent secondary match up vs our guys.

Anyone thinking this game will be easy has not watched the Seahawks much. Their defense is fantastic. It's the type of defense we've struggled against too.

Next week's game will arguably be our toughest of the year.

This isn't a usual pushover Seahawks team, going that far on the road in that kind of stadium is a tremendous challenge. I just hope Hernandez is available.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Brady has never played in Seattle, is that correct? Same with San Fran. Only two stadiums he's never played in, because of the injury. Pretty crazy.

I'd say it would be an easy win if it were in Foxboro, but Seattle's home field crowd is truly the 12th man.

Granted the Seahawks defense is pretty good but I'm wondering what the folks in Seattle are saying about next week's visiting offense.

"This team is about to hit it's stride. The Patriots have no idea what they're getting themselves into. I almost feel sorry for them."

Their fan base is die hard, rabid and fanatical. They'll be blowing the windows out of their stadium screaming for our blood. It's going to be the most hostile and intense environment the Patriots play in this season, against a very stingy defense.

I think we'll be okay as long as we stick to the short passes and run the ball. We should be good taking the 10 yard slants all day. Wouldn't expect anything deep and down the sidelines.

We also have more weapons than they've had to face all year. We could really use Hernandez for this game, but only if he were healthy.

I'm pretty sure they'll be about to put a pretty effective four man rush on us.
Going to need to find some success with the running game.

This is going to be an intense football game. Can't wait.
Hope it's injury free.

THey're a good team.

No doubt. THey got the result against GB
no doubt.

But GB got beat by colts last night and Dallas have been horrendous after week 1.

I expect us to play a tough team that will cause us worries, but I do think we have the weapons to beat them.
A win next week sets this team up really well. I expect us to prevail.

I doubt anyone thinks this, especially playing in Seattle. We've been saying this for weeks, we all know its going to be a toughie.

But the same way we sit here and worry about their defense, I'm pretty sure they're not looking forward to playing Brady and this offense, especially if Hernandez is back.

The Seahawks D have looked brilliant! But I trust TFB! Hopefully this D can keep the Seahawks O low scoring!
