I would say I never hope for injury to any player,especially on this team but the loss of Edelman was actually a gain the past few weeks.

Why do people keep saying this? Edelman wasn't playing the slot. Hernandez was playing more of Wes' position than Julian.

The loss of Edelman has gotten Deion Branch more snaps not Welker.

I don't know why this board is so determined to hate on Julian Edelman.

I don't get the hate either. It's stupid, and consistently shows that the posters/supporters of this idea are fans who primarily inhabit the moronosphere, vice anything reality-based. But I digress.

That's just not true. Edelman was taking snaps away from Welker in the 2 TE sets.

Are you serious? That was pretty bad disrespecting the coach like that. Felger is going to have a field day with that for the rest of the year. The team doesn't need some stupid Welker vs Belichick controversy being a distraction. That was an absolutely stupid thing for him to say. Get ready for a **** storm.

CSSNE is like a curse on humanity. Bill will probably bench Welker next week. Why any player would go on air with Felger baiting them is beyond me.

It's obvious that Welker is bitter about the whole contract issue but I would rather have a disgruntled player like this who has like several hundred yards in a few games and producing like an unstoppable force than a disgruntled dud like Thomas and a latter Moss who only showed up on the field and called it quits.

Welker is still on track for another 1,000+ season....we can't derail Wes in the offense or this train will crash.

I wish they would get together on the bye week and shock everyone with a nice extension for at least 2 more years.

However Welker was smiling when he did his Rex Ryan jokes and got suspended a quarter of a playoff game for it.

With that being said,I doubt anything here is going to affect anything within the team.
