Eric Winston rips Chiefs fans for cheering Matt Cassel injury

Kansas City Chiefs tackle Eric Winston ripped fans for cheering the injury of embattled quarterback Matt Cassel on Sunday, saying it was "disgusting" and the most embarrassing moment of his football life.

Really? wow, of the 32 teams only 1 wins the SB every year, i think the fans now a days are getting impatient too soon, Most of the pats fans too expect each and every year that the team plays like the 2007 team did. Fans need to calm down.

Booing someones injury is classless

Absolutely classless for any fan base to root when an injury occurs, but it's especially egregious when it's a member of YOUR team.

Hey Kansas - you suck. Bunch of ****s.

Get well soon Matt.

wow they really hate him

I'm not saying I agree with what they did......but......I understand

The man can't play.

Cassell sucks and was a one year wonder with a team coming off a 18-1 season,I knew he would struggle pretty bad after he left.

It's the Brady Quinn show now, but my money is on Ricky Stanzi starting by season's end

Cassel got $64M for this?.....and now I hear Pioli's job is in jeopardy

Pioli must be in trouble.
BRady quinn era has begun
****ty move by the kansas fans.

Just before the hit i heard chants for the back up QB.

Heh they even hired a plane with the bench Cassel sign.

Pretty brutal for him.

Missouri is the state you're looking for, dude. ;)

As in Kansas City. I merely missed the City off. If you knew us North-West English folk, you'd know why too ;)

Just not right. It's one thing to critisize your team, but to cheer an injury is down right the lowest. What's his recourse? I'd have to just get the He!! out of there.. And they call Pats fans "Bandwagon, Fair weather" Fans? :nooo:

Obviously there is no excuse for cheering an injury.
That said, it looks like it's time for KC to move on from Pioli/Crennell/Cassel and the fans all seem to know it. With the exception of stud talents like Richard Seymour, Ty Law, and maybe Asante Samuel, every coach/player/GM associated with BB has gone on to pretty much prove they are products of BB's system.

I know what you mean, but I don't think that I've heard a Pats fan ever cheer an injury to a Patriots player. That's just cold man.

While I didn't cheer for the injury at the time. I do support inducting Mo Lewis into the Pat's Hall of Fame as an honorary member for his contribution to the team.

Kansas City is a sleeper for the douchiest sports city in the country. This isn't the first time KC fans have acted like children.
