Yes, he fumbled. He goofed. But overall he had a great game and he has earned his position as a starter by now. Most importantly starting Ridley gives the Pats their best chance to win. Make him work on ball security in practice extra hours on top of regular practice but let's not bench him, mmmkay? Agreed?! From our lips to BB's ears then, LOL.

I don't see them benching him for a whole game. I really don't think he'll get benched at all after today. I think BB was just trying to close out the game with no more hiccups.

He did not goof. That was a great play from Von Miller. There are some instances where you need to give credit to the other team and this was one of them. BB should be fair. Not all fumbles are the same.

I dont think a dead man with rigga could have held onto that ball.

Hopefully BB learned from his stupid decision to bench his most explosive back in the playoffs last year.

running backs fumble, its part of teh game, especially guys who get ALOT of touches..heck, Benny Green ellis has already fumbled twice this year

just hopefully Ridley can keep it to a minimum

I highly doubt he gets benched for that. Everyone relax

I don't think Ridley will be benched because they already mix up their running game a lot with Woody, Bolden, and sometimes Vereen. I just hope that Ridley doesn't start playing with hesitation and lose his spark.

I was worried about this the minute Boldin went in full time on the final drive

We need Ridley to play against a very formidable Seahawks defense

Most touches he has ever had in a game was tonight at 28. I don't think he gets benched but might go back down to 20-22 touches.

he's young...BB is sending him a message..will only help him

The Riddler is not benched. Prob tired and a little beat up. The guy earned his spot. Just a little rest after he Welker carried the team. :)

He's not going to be bench, last week welker fumbles and gronk also.

28 touches before that.

And it was a great play for Miller. Ridley plays next week

for sure.

If he benches Ridley, he'd have to bench Brady too, no?

I don't see a benching coming Ridley's way. A few less touches maybe which might not be a bad idea. Players rarely end up with their actual measurements posted. So I wonder if he is really 220 lbs. He is doing some tough running for his size I think.

I thought the fumble was questionable, don't know why BB didn't throw the beanbag. I fumble doesn't erase the game he had. Ridley could be the best back since the turncoat who went to the jests with Parcells.

Its odd when people think BB is a thoughtless moron who will sacrifice team goal over sending a message to a player just because it happened before. Same logic people were having that welker was being sidelined because of contract issues. Not to mention benching wont help solve any fumbling problems ..coaching will.
