Ok, something got screwed up so lets start again

Please post your Post game comment, knee jerk reactions, and insightful observations on this thread.
Good win today. Did anyone really think it was going to be as easy as it appeared?

its worth saying twice.

we nearly lost brady for the season tonight at 17 points up on 4th down.

boneheaded play.

Glad we won but we need to do something about our secondary. It's nice to win despite their terribleness but it will come back and haunt us probably when it matters most.

A win is a win...BUT...i just don't like, i HATE that 4th and 5 call......calls like that will cost this team donw the line....

Amen. I still think that it might be a coaching problem. The offense is not going to score 30 points every week. They HAVE TO FIX THIS SECONDARY.

30 points plus two straight weeks without our arguably best weapon Hernandez and a banged up Gronk winning is winning

Time to cut Woodhead.

Whilst I'm a Dennard fan, let's not go putting him in Canton just yet.

The big issue is the second Safety spot. I'm much happier with Wilson than ANYONE else right now, and that's saying something. If the ball is in the air, I have absolutely no faith in Chung and co. getting near it. Either we need to scheme better, or we need to try another body there.

I think McCourty's fine at LCB (that big gainer late on was typical of the type of opponent we were playing and I think that play gets made against the other 30 teams in the league), but that RCB spot is a big concern too.

Arrington should be nowhere near the team, simply, and Moore is neither here or there. I'd play Dowling, and let Dennard see time with Moore in the slot. Not sure what happens at Safety though.

Should we be worried?

@MikeReiss Patriots injury updates: RT Sebastian Vollmer (knee) and LG Logan Mankins (calf), both questionable to return.

The game wouldn't have been as "close" as it was if Chandler Jones wasn't getting held on every single play.

I wanted them to go for it on 4th and 5. It was a sound football call but you have to block.

Yes, the secondary sux so badly. Let's just forget that it was Peyton Manning throwing the ball. I mean, he's not a 1st ballot Hall of Famer or anything. I mean, he's so bad that he makes Sanchez look like Johnny Unitas, right??

Seriously people, the secondary is NOT as bad as you think. You need to stop your complaining and realize that Manning is still an exceptional player and that he's got some damn good receivers. And they ARE going to make plays on our young defense.

Agree with u here....secondary play AND overall defense in the MIDDLE of the field continues to be a weakness.....and for the love of Gawd can we get a CONSISTENT pass rush!!!!!

Was it just me or was Chung out of position on a number of plays?

I don't claim to be a football scientist but when your safety is upfield of the corner something might be wrong.

The secondary is what it is. It can improve, but odds are it won't become a strength of this team anytime soon. I'm more concerned about the offense, and their inability to close out games.

Anyone else get that sick feeling when the score went to 31-14?

What happens with Ridley now? Do they bench him next week a la SB 46? Can Bolden take over for him if need be?

Dennard and Wilson looked good. I liked what I saw from them.
