Guess who the only one on the NFLN Thursday night crew picked Manning over Brady. Kurt Warner? Dion Sanders?, Marshall Faulk? Rich Eisen? Michael Irvin?

Yep. They rest shamed him on live TV:singing:

I hear Faulk praise Brady and Belichick all the time. Everyone here is so sensitive. Why is so so far-fetched to think one HOF QB will outperform another in a game?

"all the time" maybe stretching a little bit but yes..oddly this yr faulk has made moderately pro pats statements .I think he is trying the reverse jinx.

Well if Faulk praises Brady and Belichick all the time why did you assume i was talking about Faulk?

I haven't heard Faulk much at all this year because I haven't had NFLN until last week when Time Warner picked it up. Prior to this year you knew what Faulk would say before he said it. He was an anything Patriots hater for all the years I remember after they lost to the Pats in the SB. That said when the question was posed I knew who he would pick.....and made sure everyone knew they disagreed with him. I like seeing Faulk embarrassed publicly for all the cheater talk he has spewed for years

The sham-wow commerical guy picked who again or is my reading comprehension doing a nose dive again?

Let me see if I get this straight??

The majority of the NFLN guys picked the Pats to win on Sunday, but the one who did not was Marshall Faulk?

In which case you are annoyed because of Faulk's idiotic comments in the past, so by him standing alone it seems as though there's even more reason for us to hate him than before.

Makes sense to me :rocker:

Without exaggeration, I can say that the original post was the most incomprehensible thing I have ever seen at this site.

Indeed. First off, it's a subject that I don't understand why people get bothered by: media people not liking/picking the Pats. I'm Doesn'tCareGuy when it comes to who in the media does what, but that's neither here nor there really.

But if you're going to make a post about that subject, at least make it one with a beginning, a middle, and an end.

Really? I thought it would be obvious to everyone that Faulk would be the lone Brady detractor. Apparently that was not the case based on the responses. My bad

I really thought the question was rhetorical. Faulk has been one of the worst spygate, Pats hating phonies ever. I don't care if most people pick the Pats or not but I think a lot of us are aware that some people, like Faulk, base their picks on hate over unbiased analysis. The middle and end I thought would be apparent.

I thought your post meant there was one unnamed person in the list who the rest shamed.

By the way, Warner, Faulk and Eisen are all pretty negative toward the Patriots.

Sorry for the confusion. I guess I did butcher the OP. Faulk was the one who picked Manning and the rest of them kind of belittled him for his commentary. Of those on the panel I thought Faulk would be the obvious answer to my question. Maybe a bunch of the people responding to this aren't aware of the over the top anti-Patriots history Faulk has had. Warner has too but he hasn't been nearly as bad as Faulk has he?

The narrative has always been wrong on this. Always.

For the 1st half of their careers, it was "Brady owns Manning." For the 2nd half, it was "Manning figured it out - he's beating Brady."

Manning had never gone against Brady, ever. He has gone against the NE defense, and more importantly, Bill Belichick.
