OT: We all knew it was coming - Valentine is Fired

worst off season signing

Bobby v for the Sox or Mario williams for the bills?

At least Mario produced something for his team

get this crap out of here...red sox suck balls

Who cares? The players suck and the locker room for the past two years has been about as bad as it gets. With or without Valentine, they're a chore to watch, and difficult to root for.

They have to blow things up way more than just getting rid of Valentine.

Why post this garbage in the forum?....I don't think its wrong to post about another NFL team, but who gives a flying fu(k about the Red Sox??

I come here to talk about sports, not lawn games.

Valentine never should have been hired in the first place.

Mark Sanchez for the Jets....an error for the ages, not limited to the boundaries of a single season!!!

Bobby V made some verbal errors toward the end, but only after the team began to sink in the mire and when he had only Dustin and a bunch of minor league guys in the lineup.

I have been a great fan of Sox for many decades, but have never been that big of fan of any of their managers. Nor do I like the current choices much at all. And I do prefer the Valentine type (smart, bulldog, and disciplinarian to a degree) to run a club that has always been tagged as a "country club" team.

At least with Valentine the manager interviews were not predictable bores as was the case with his predecessors. Maybe Valentine is much more of big city manager--NY, LA (didn't he call Boston a provincial town and not a real city--that probably began the firing process)

I say start at the top and fire the damn general manager--i hate these boy types running this club

Williams by far. Bobby was an easy signing to fix: they just had to fire him, his deal was only two years anyway, and there's no salary cap. They'll eat some token amount of money in 2013 and be done with it.

The Bills are stuck with Williams for a very long time, and he's going to murder their cap the entire time he's there.

I came here to look at girls jumping on trampolines. Sadly, nobody has made that happen.

I got ya back, Ausbacker.
