What?! Outrageous, it clearly should have been Coples!

In all seriousness though, congrats to the kid for a great first month in the NFL.

Hopefully all the talk of him being raw and a project prove true, and he just continues to get better.

Congrats kid now keep getting better and better :rocker:

Coples does have 6 tackles, must have been close!

Bruce Irvin has been pretty good so far as well

Yea he's another Von Miller. Only negative is he doesn't play every down right now.

Congrats to Jones, what he's doing is impressive considering he's gotten no help on the other side.

He has been pretty good rushing the passer, comparable to Jones. When it comes to filling gaps and stopping the run, I don't even know where to start comparing these two.

Congratulations to Mr. Jones on this fine and auspicious beginning to his NFL career. As an added bonus, you know this will bother Jets fans!

Sweet ! Hopefully on his way to many awards !

Great minds think alike :)
I must be really screwed up when that was my 2nd thought upon reading this, first being "Nice 1st step towards DROY"

HAHA That thought crossed my mind immediately. I'll have to check out the Jet forums

OK, but can he rush the passer ?

Admittedly, I don't really have a strong pulse on other defensive rookies (other than Hightower and Wilson), but with two sacks, two forced fumbles, and a number of hurries he definitely had a great month.

Yeh, he seems like a complete player, sorta like Willie. Irvin may develop over time but he also may never been on the field for running downs. I do hope they Bolden him out in Seattle.

I'm so happy for the kid.

Jones looks beastly. The replacement refs probably cost him another two sacks.
The thing about Jones is that he is a force against the RUN as well as the PASS. Now that is a complete player. Hope he can maintain his pace for the rest of the year. I think we're gonna see something special from him as he gets more and more comfortable at the NFL level.
