However, tight end Rob Gronkowski (hip), tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle), safety Steve Gregory, Michael Hoomanawanui and wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle) did not participate. Gregory and Hoomanawanui were out for unknown reasons.

GRONKnandez both out . . . .
And I thought Edelman's problem was (hand) not (ankle).

3 of the 4 TEs on the game roster were all out, though Gronknandez was seen in the locker-room prior to practice..

As for them listing Edelman's ankle, that coulda just been a mistake by the reporter..

Even though I'm sure the Gronk will play, it's a bit concerning. I've seen hip injuries derail promising careers. His problem doesn't seem to be that grave at the moment, but it bears keeping an eye on moving forward.

I would hold off with the career threatening talk. He looked fine on Sunday. For all we know it is is a bruised hip and he is being held out for precautionary reason. Offensive players tend to get Wednesdays off from time to time (Moss got every Wednesday off in 2009). For all we know, that is the case for Gronk.

I feel I put an adequate enough caveat to what I was saying in my original post. I saw the man running around, diving, blocking and catching touchdown passes, so I know it isn't anything career threatening (to the eye at least). However, few of us, if any, are medical professionals and none of us have evaluated him ourselves. I was more-or-less making a casual statement about the situation since he was held out of practice today. Relax.

Any chance we see more of Fells this week?

Not sure how much playing time he got last week after his 1st reception either way it'd be nice to how capable our depth is.

Gronk will play. If Gregory is out, then it's HEY MR. WILSONNNN!

I will bet that it is a minor concussion. Last shot of Edelman I saw leaving the field in the game against Baltimore he was shaking his head as if he were clearing the cobwebs. He was in no way holding his hand.

I would like to see Wilson snaps increase, he's been solid so far even if you ignore the turnovers. Looked solid in one on one coverage on Chandler the few times I noticed it, good run support.

Gregory has been solid but not spectacular, up until the Buffalo game. Let's see what Wilson can do with more time.

I don't remember that, and unfortunately it's off the DVR now. Why would the Pats lie about that? For all their shenanigans on the injury report, they have disclosed head injuries all the time, even in cases where we had no idea a guy had his bell rung.

So, Edelman has a concussion on his ankle but his hand hurts,...interesting:cool:

The last shot I saw was him talking **** to Ravens fans in the far end.

Good news. Gronk will play. If it was a serious hip injury he wouldn't have been out there getting 100 yards last week
