Look at their schedule this year and who they played last year. Who the hell have the played and beaten the past year and a 1/4? Its laughable.

I'd like to see what they do with GB, BAL, BUF, and CHI run coming up....

Thoughts?

It doesn't matter whether they are "that good" right now or not. It's how good they are at the end of the season that will count.

GB and BAL will be a good test. They have the best running game in the league and Schaub is playing mistake-free football.

Their defense has gotten A LOT better. Through four games JJ Watt is the DPOY and possibly MVP. He's a monster.

The Texans have beat up on Miami, Jacksonville and Tennessee. The were beating up on Denver before they relaxed. They're a good side and worthy of the #1 AFC seed right now.

Do yourself a favor and watch JJ Watt. He's going to be something special.

They pass the eye test, even w/out the hard schedule yet. Very complete team, with a great running game & WR's. Schaub isn't elite, but he's as capable a 2nd tier QB as there is, and can win games.

And while Wade Phillips was a bad HC, he's one of the best DC's in the game. That D gets after the QB, covers receivers & is stout against the run. They swarm to the ball.

They're as good a team as anyone. The advantage the Pats will have when they inevitably meet in the playoffs is experience.

in short...yes...can beat you many different ways. D. Running game...passing game ect

We are lucky that BAL is playing HOU... IMO...

He already is something special, he's the best defensive player in the league.

That and the Pats can stop the run. Or contain it, at least. Foster is the best RB in the league and Tate is a starter on a lot of teams. Force Schaub to throw the ball and don't give up any big plays to Johnson.

Not yet, that goes to Revis (pre-injury) or JPP. He's definitely on his way though...

#1 seed with that defense and schedule. They play in the same crappy division that Manning took advantage of for years.

Yes, they are that good.

A little hypocritical considering the AFC East is annually one of the worst divisions in football and is probably the worst division in football this year... :bricks:

They are what their record says they are.

They're good but they can be beat. Schaub is still the weakness, IMO.

JJ Watt has been a beast. On the other hand, Connor Barwin hasn't done much at all...might be injured or something.

I think the tense of your sentence is wrong. :)

14 or 15 wins

Yes,they are that good

Does anyone see a weakness area on that Roster besides HC?

Tennessee,Jax and Indy are better of a threesome to beat than Miami,NYJ,and Buf

Sorry but stats don't give context, and the W/L record is a stat. It's very possible that a 2-2 team can be significantly better than a 4-0 team.

Brady is better than Schaub
Belichick a better HC than Kubiak
Pats TEs better than the Texans TEs

But after that....

Houston much better at RB
Houston better at OL
Houston better at DL
Houston TONS better at DB
Houston TONS better at S

Total WR corps is close to call but Andre Johnson is all world
