Jets sign RB Lex Hilliard, per league source.

Our loss is their gain.

Let us give serious thanks that Bolden made the 53 despite the many who had him cut. He'd be an instant upgrade fix to the Jets run game.

I'd bet the Rats didn't even know who Lex Hilliard was until the Pats signed him.

That's what will solve the Jets problems...a fullback...

Solid roster move, similar to signing Danny Woodhead. :p

BTW, the Jets now have the two dumbest corners in NFL history; Cromartie and Aaron Berry.

Tebow is their best fullback, they just won't admit it or use him as such.

is it just me or does the AFC East see a lot more players going between divisional teams than other divisions? It seems like the Pats are always signing players within the division and vise versa, Woodhead, Ihedigbo, Cole, Allen, Nate Jones, Shaun Ellis all being recent examples. Miami signed a few of our guys this year too.

Edited for accuracy.

very funny, but not really fair to Hilliard. I'm sure he's happy to be a "NFL player" and have a paying job; but you have to have pity on the guy who has to take that crash&burn plane route to break into the league.

Well at least he is in the big leagues now. Sure he's in a 3 ring circus, but I'm happy for him that he made it to the show. Luckily I am not concerned that he will turn into a star and burn us somehow. Fullbacks generally are not impact players in today's NFL.

They probably think they signed Dalton Hilliard.

It could be worse. He could have been signed by the brownies.

Not if you saw the Jets Hard Knocks…I was sure John "The Terminator" Connor was getting fitted for a Canton jacket.
