Remembering before the season started and how every analyst everywhere talked about how the Patriots would be undefeated again or at worst, be 14-2 or 13-3. Well, taking another look at our upcoming slate of games, this schedule doesn't seem so "cupcake" anymore. Our next game is against the Broncos and Manning, after that we head to Seattle and play the Seahawks and we all know how tough they ply up there with the loudest stadium in the league.

Down the line, we still play the Texans & 49ers as the toughest pair but I personally don't think the Dolphins are as bad as they're record says and they always play us tough. I don't have any faith in the Jets anymore, especially with Holmes and Revis going down in back to back weeks, we should obliterate them but we all know how those divisional games can go.

I just think this schedule is a little tougher than we initially forecasted. Thoughts?

This appears to me to be a 11-5 team...possibly 10-6 if another WTF game happens,it would have been that way even if the team lost yesterday.

10-6 or 11-5 wins the AFC Least .... This is the weakest division in football and its not close.

I don't see the team beating Houston or San Francisco without some turnovers like yesterday and one divisional game might go the other way.

In fact Houston is so packed with talent on that roster,I wonder where and when they are going to lose a game unless its one of those 'bad' days...I think San Fran is much more beatable than Houston because Alex Smith may be hard pressed to outdo Brady,Schaub has potential to outscore Brady.

What analyst said that the Pats would go undefeated? From my recollection 11-13 wins was the consensus projection.

A little Hyperbole eh? Considering the 72 Dolphins and 07 Pats were the only teams to go undefeated. And, Gary Kubiak is no Don Shula. And, Matt Schaub is no TFB.

None. that I know of. I believe he is referring to a few optimists on this board. However, the majority board average was probably 12-4. So, the assumption of the thread seems to be a false one.

Comparatively it's still a fairly easy schedule based on what we've seen this young season and coming off last year. Go look at the schedules for teams like Baltimore and the Giants... I mean the Giants could play as well they did in their Super bowl seasons and still miss the playoffs easily. The 2 toughest remaining games are both home games and the rest are games against bad to borderline playoff caliber teams. Safest prediction IMO is we split those 2 big games and lose 1 more game that we should win. 12-4

Look I ***** about the pats about as much as anybody when they play a half like the first half of the Buffalo game. With that said I gaurantee they win one if not both those games late in the season. I predict both are wins.

Tough games:

Denver ( only becasue of manning)
Seattle (becasue it's in seattle....but seattle can't pass the ball...at all. Only run.
49ers
houston

I think we beat denver but will come down to wire. Denver has a good pass rush and a good running game with manning

...think they win against seattle becasue of the fact our weakness is against the pass..something they can't do

As much as I hate to admit it, just because we lost two games doesn't mean our schedule still isn't one of the easiest in the league.

I mean, what team can compare to having this as their opposing quarterbacks?

Jake Locker
Kevin Kolb
Joe Flacco
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Peyton Manning
Russell Wilson
Mark Sanchez
Sam Bradford
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Andrew Luck
Mark Sanchez
Ryan Tannenhill
Matt Schaub
Alex Smith
Blaine Gabbert
Ryan Tannenhill

Bob Griese was no Brady either

I never said they would go 19-0

I just don't know what game or games they will have an off day in...hopefully in Foxboro and not this Sunday night against Rexies boys.

I would think 14-2 or 15-1 is about right, they will lose a game or two,I would assume

Sure, Seattle may be tough at home but if I'm a Seahawks fan I'm still thinking "Oh no, we have to play New England".

I had them at 12-4. I had them Losing to the 49ers and Seattle but since they Lost to the Cards I'm thinking they might pull out a win in Seattle though it will be hard. I fully think they can beat Denver. Not so sure about Houston. They are much better than I was expecting.

Credit for Rex Ryan isn't easy to come by on this board, but he does tend to get his team up for NE games (45-3 notwithstanding). I wouldn't pencil in either of those 2 games - or any other divisional games - as automatic.

Seattle can't pass the ball..at all..which plays into our hand. Thinking about it now we might have a better chance of losing vs denver
