I am sure you guys saw Cunningham lined up over the Guard Multiply times Sunday Night to no avail. I would like BB the scrap that idea and play Cunningham exclusively at Left LDE/LOLB where he can use his speed against the Tackle or TE's. We saw how Tuck abused Mankins in Two SB's but JC is no Justin Tuck by any stretch of our imagination. Play him where he's effective and not where he's not.

Thought he gave a nice push from the inside in the Titans game. Not sure why your comparing him to Tuck but I would like to see the coaching staff move him around and find a fit.

How about we give him more than one game to see what he can do. The position is new to him, i'm sure theres a learning curve

Every post you've made since Sunday has been terrible :bricks:

He got penetration on a number of plays, the problem is he was subject to the same hook around the neck technique everyone else was.

He created pressure against the Titans and some against the Cardinals so he isn't a problem at DT.

That is some measuring stick you use there. Lets compare every player on the roster to one the best players at his position league wide and then if they aren't as good we will bench them.

Cunningham through 3 weeks has a sack and several pressures playing a small role as an inside rusher that is pretty good.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind next time I hear an analyst comparing Jermaine Cunningham (a little known role player and borderline starter) to Justin Tuck (an all-pro versatile defensive lineman with a uniquely versatile skill set and two SB rings.)

Tuck is a terrific player, but I'm not sure "abusing" Mankins who played all year with a torn ACL will catapult him into the HOF.

We can be sure that Chandler Jones will see his share of double Teams. Last year we got good pressure with both Carter and Anderson before Carter went down. My point is we need Two guys to provide a consistent pass rush and not one. That way we wont leave anybody on a island in our Secondary for too long. Cunningham like Chandler Jones should be a dedicated end.

Cunningham has been, per play, one of our most effective defenders.
We have to get inside pressure, and there really isn't anyone else on the roster who can do it.

There are a lot of players who aren't as good as Justin Tuck

It wouldn't be fair to single out Jermaine

Besides Tuck didn't really break out until his 4th season

For his first 3 seasons,Tuck only played in 36 games with 80 tackles and 11 sacks...good stats but not exactly HOF numbers at the end of his 3rd year

Speaking of pass rushers, did anyone else notice Trevor Scott at LDE in the 2nd half on Sunday? He seemed to show a lot more speed than in pre-season and turned the corner a couple of times.

Hopefully once Bequette is ready the Patriots can use a version of the Giants NASCAR package, obviously with less talent but it's still enough to cause offensive lines problems.

Here is some other dumb thread suggestions to consider starting:

Rob Ninkovich = No DeMarcus Ware
Julian Edelman = No Larry Fitzgerald
Danny Woodhead = No Ray Rice
Ryan Wendell = No Nick Mangold
Brandon Deadrick = No Haloti Ngata
Marquis Cole = No Darrelle Revis

I thought he looked useless. But note that he was in only (or mostly only) when Jones was out and Ninko was at RDE, so it wasn't replacing the weak link.

I don't even know what your exact point is here, but I generally support the liberal use of Crazied-eyed Samuel L. Jackson.

It's a creative more polite W T F !!!

Hey guys lets assess this guys talent that is being reffed by incompetent lingerie league reject refs that cant even call holding on full on choke holds on Chandler Jones!

And lets set the bar at one of the best pass rushers in the league. :singing::singing::singing:
