Just heard Belichick was fined $50,000. Not surprised at his amt just glad he wasn't suspended.

I was expecting worse. Ed Reed better get at least this much for his two hits.

One less shopping trip for his blonde bimbo of the year.

confirmed?

anyways, moving on....I stated earlier that the BIlls is a big game, I think the guys will give that little bit extra for thier coach this week.

No big deal needs to be made of this by Wilfork, Brady etc, they need a good week of practice.

Moving on....

what a joke, The refs completely ignored him after the kick, and they showed ZERO accountability.

They entire ref squad from the game should be banned forever. You cant just run and hide after the worst officiated game in history, and not even give the head coach of the team you screwed an explanation.

Expected and fair. Though Harbaugh should have gotten a fine as well.

I could care less about the money. Just glad he isn't suspended.

Expected... glad the S word was not a consideration.

Less than I thought it would be and, assuming Harbaugh is fined similarly for bumping an official, fair; players, coaches, officials, cheerleaders, reporters, team staff, whoever...all have to be have a reasonable expectation that they will not have unwanted intrusions on their physical "space" outside of legit game contact when they walk onto an NFL field or sideline. It was clear from his immediate reaction in the video clip and his comments the next day that BB knew he had made a mistake.

However, unlike during Spygate, I'll bet this time a few of his fellow HC's would like to be able to chip in to help pay it.

I hear ya! Once Belichick grabbed that ref all bets are off! Bill even let go quick probably knowin he was screwed. CollinsworthLESS couldn't wait to start screamin how Bill was gonna get fined.

Harbaugh is not fined

Meanwhile, Anderson determined that Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who wasn't fined for his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for bumping an official when he was trying to get his attention to call a timeout, didn't violate a rule prohibiting abuse of game officials.

I have to say that if [the theorized] Belichick's suspension cost us more games on top of what the refs cost us, I'd have been apoplectic.

I was thinkin more like 75 grand to one hundred knowin Goodell.
From what I understand Harbaugh isn't bein fined for bump saying refs missed it and wasn't on film.

No surprises here. Other coaches got 25-30K for yelling at the refs...so i knew Bill would get slapped a little harder...I thought it would be closer to 100K to be honest. He's a rich man....time to move on. I know I won't lose sleep over it.

My primary concern here is the fact that when you heard about the memo you almost knew that the Pats would get effed in the a to the point that BB would blow his top, and end up being one of the first coaches fined despite being much better behaved over all than most. While this fine was deserved it's going to do nothing to stop the issue with most coaches abusing the replacement officials after almost every snap.

Tha'll teach Bill to try and get a refs attention ever again

And neither is Bill. He said that he shouldn't be fined but if he is he would pay it and respect decision and move on. On to Buffalo, Get a Win!

All the ref had to say to BB was " the kick is not reviewable" ... game over.

The second rate hack ran off with his tail between his legs rather than answer a legit question. I'm thinking one of the regular refs would have stood and told BB that fact. The replacement probably didn't know it wasn't.

Get this lockout settled now...PLEASE
