Thinking way ahead I know -but the outcome of these games could really impact the seating in the playoffs. To have shoddy officiating help determine the outcome of the games is not good- these games can and will determine who plays where in the Playoffs.

Now before you guys say it -the Pats lost the game-should have made plays blah blah blah- the officiating did have a big part in the outcome of that game right from the start-everything from the non-call hit on Edelman in the endzone to the Mayo(I think) pass interference call.

Just a thought this morning

The Pats have plenty of time to earn a good position, hopefully a bye.

Last year they were 5-3 at one point, yeah not as bad as 1-2 but still not a record you expect from a 1 seed. If the team gets rolling and plays like a top seed they'll get it. We have 2 games against [supposed] elite teams left and both are at home (Houston, SF). The only real tough road games I see are Seattle and NYJ, but both are games we really should win. 12-4 maybe even 13-3 is a very realistic goal for the team right now which could definitely get us a bye.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the Pats have to travel on the road in the playoffs. I think a team like the Texans, might get a little too comfy with a home game, and I certainly wouldn't mind going into Balt. and ending their season.

Sometimes teams play better with their back up against the wall. I think this team needs a chip on their shoulder.

Maybe last night's loss will be that chip on the shoulder?

Its week 3. Neither of last night's team has clinched or close to making the playoffs yet. Who knows , they may both not. Lot of crap can happen. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

the pats just played what I believe is to be theor most difficult game of the season. I don't see either houston or SF at home later in the season as difficult as going to baltimore.

the pats will see the ravens again, and I like their chances either in foxborough or down in maryland

First round bye isn't a gimme either ! we have recently lost playoff games in all possible ways; first round elimination, divisional round, AFCCG and superbowl

so get in to play offs first and see how we can go futher

One game at a time. I just want a see a "W" following a well played game. I missed the opener, so I have only got to experience these last 2 losses.

Not getting ahead at all, just saying these games will mean something in the end- saying its just game three and it doesn't mean anything is wrong -only 16 games a season everyone of them count and I'd hate to see a playoff home game riding on these outcomes.

Now that being said Pats may not be there in the end,but they maybe, we won't know till the end of the season and I think they can win anywhere but they would probably prefer a home game don't you think:)

First off, we have to have a good showing against the Bills this week. Get the team's confidence up after two tough losses. This game may be key to the rest of the season.

Offense needs to continue their momentum from this week, and the defense needs to step the F up. Here's a clue defense, the Bills will be without their top two running backs, so they'll probably pass it a bit.

Maybe last night's loss will be that chip on the shoulder?

Kyle Love Tweeted last night at one point that "the chip got bigger".

I feel sorry for some poor Bills offensive player who has to feel the wrath of Love & Wilfork
