He's signed through the next season, though hopefully they'll renew his contract before then so he's not in lame-duck status.

I heard his interview on WEEI and, while he didn't give any specifics, he said he's happy with his situation. I fully expect him to be back next year. No worries.

We will never find out if he signed and for how long. If the local sports reporters who have way more access to the team can't find out, we'll sure as hell never find out.

Can't remember whether it was Reiss or some other scribe, but I think the answer to this q in an online q&a was he was signed for 07 with a club option for 08.
