Okay, I get it........ can't blame a lose on outside factors.. yada, yada, yada..... So I won't come out and blame this loss exclusively on the refs.

All that being said, what is you're all opinions on what we are seeing. Not just with Patriot games, but with games in General. Very rarely have I seen an outcome so clearly effected by bad officiating.

Sure, I've complained about it in the past, but this is one time where I actually think that it was so apparent. It almost had the feeling of watching a game that had been fixed. I don't believe that, but it kinda felt that way at times.

What say you?

Burton and Zolak losing it on postgame

Anyone else catch it just before they went on air they left the camera rolling and they were talking about how bad the reffing was without knowing they were live.

Then when they came on here Zolak flipped at the refs anyway

I thought the first week the refs were ok, but the last two weeks they have been miserable.

it's sickening..makes me want to not watch games anymore..it's sad

the refs were awful all night, but the Ravens crowd totally intimidated them in the last few minutes.

Every Patriots pass rusher gets tackled- no call. Every Ravens receiver pushes off-- no call.

This whole season will deserve an asterisk because of these guys.

and posting on a message board changes anything?

Refs were bad both ways. As Rondey said at half time we should block it out and focus on things we can control. For me that's drinking more beer.

Really one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. Horrible calls for both teams.

The scab ref's have GOT TO GO.

Even some Jets fans on their boards admitted the Pats got hosed on a lot of penalties. And Jets fans thinks the Pats get all the calls.

I don't blame the refs. They're just trying to do the best they can. Plus it's only week 3, i'm sure they'll get better the more games they are in.

However, I blame the NFL for this mess. You put high school refs and such and this is what happens. The NFL is at fault here not the refs who are trying.

This game was completely tainted by the refs. No matter who won, the other team would have a right to complain. So, it sorta cancels out.

But make no mistake, these poser refs are ruining the integrity of the game

Not to be facetious, but how do you control "not being able to rush the passer because you're being held on every ******* play"?

I'm finished with the NFL until the real officials are brought back.

I can lose games but not like this.
Yes, Arizona played great football against us last week, but the Patriots came up big when they needed to despite the officials killing a few of their early drives with very suspect penalties. The Gronk hold I considered an outright HORRIBLE call. It cost us the game.

I could live with that, though. Arizona played well and if we would have beaten them a little bit of luck would have been involved with that fumble.

But tonight I watched the Patriots outplay the Ravens in every phase of the game. We were deep into the 4th quarter with a 2 score game and had the Ravens 3 and long with an incomplete pass, would of made it 4th.

That holding call that gave them a free 1st down was completely AMAZING. I don't even know how to theorize what the official MIGHT have THOUGHT he saw. Both announcers were admitting on the air they were "trying to behave themselves."

The Patriots marched on the Ravens defense. The Patriot defense did a great job of stopping the Ravens offense.

But you can't overcome officials giving an opposing team free 1st down after 1st down after 1st down for completely IMAGINARY penalties. The 4th quarter of that game was just completely amazing. I can't even remember a time that i've seen a team get hosed so hard by bad call after bad call.

They may as well fill a lottery wheel with ping pong balls titled "complete pass," "penalty", etc, and just spin it every down to decide the game.

Can't watch this.

Definitely not even going to watch next weeks game. Going to watch a movie or something. Too stressful. The NFL should be ashamed of themselves after that game.

This was the worst by far.

That being said, the D and O totally fell apart at the end of the game. It could be that was an effect of all the penalties being called but who knows.

The way this game ended totally sucked. I still don't believe that kick was good.

It does seem like they regressed. Which kinda sucks, the calls were a bit too lopsided tonight imo.

I think the ref's jobbed us last week on the holding call on Gronk but this week was off the chart. The Nfl has lost a loyal family for a long while. To me this is like watching the nba...

these are the same fans now who think they control the AFC east...

I will this was the worst officiated game involving the pats since the infamous 1976 playoff game against the raiders. The officiating was horrific no matter who lost. Godell (or go to hell) as i call him needs to get the regular refs back ....now. The reffs gave the ravens their last TD drive with at least three phantom penalties against the defense.

Bad calls both ways.... but it was at least 65/35 in favor of the Ravens.

It should've been 4th and 1, and they somehow gave the Ravens a 1st down after reviewing a weird play with Inconclusive evidence. So bad. Totally changed the momentum in the first half.

Also called a bunch of "defensive holding" that were complete jokes.

This might've been the worst officiated game Ive ever seen.

Re: I'm finished with the NFL until the real officials are brought back.

Wah wah wah.

Bye.

This game was THE defining moment for these replacement referees. It is a historic moment in NFL history. This game should to future generations be known as the Ref Bowl.
