Ouch. That hurts the Jets and helps the Pats. Wasn't there some contract issue this past off season. That can't help his case.

You should never wish injury on anyone. Pretty low that.

Being reported by Jason La Confora of CBS Sports that Jets fear Derrelle Revis has an injured ACL.

Not that I wish injury upon anyone, but the memory of the Jets players unable to contain their excitement when Brady tore his ACL is seared into my mind!

Screw em!!!!

Tough break for Revis - great player.

To be honest, i'd rather not look to the conduct of Jets players as a guide on how to react to any given situation - enjoying injuries is just classless (with the possible exception of it happening to those who actively injure others)

Best Cornerback in a decade....

I wish that the report is false and Revis gets back on the field A.S.A.P.

That much Talent is too sad to see wasted on an IR list

You are probably right!

I am just trying to justify my guilty pleasure.

I know I shouldn't be happy hat the Jets may have lost their best player for the year, BUT I AM....can't lie!!!

When did they show excitement over Brady's injury? My memory's drawing a blank

I believe this is a contract year for Revis

I would think injuries like this may hurt negotiations just a tad bit.

The day after Brady's ACL injury in 2008.

I live in NY so I was able to see whole bunch of clips of Jets player unable to stop smiling when talking about Brady's injury.

Favre looked like a little kid on Christmas morning!

i watched the Doofin Jester game....and the truth of the mater is the Jets D sucks with Revis and it will suck without Revis.

The game was a comedy of errors and I know it's early, but I'd be shocked if the Pats don't go 5-1 or 6-0 against this pathetic division.

That is what makes tonights game as well as the games against SF and Houston later on so important as to see how the Pats can handle talented teams.

They have little experience with playoff teams in this division and if they can't win 2 of 3 against those 3 talented teams, the division title isn't a big deal,it's just because the other AFCE teams stink so bad.

Every year is a contract year for Revis.

I am not wishing injury upon Revis, the injury already happened! I am just saying I would not be too upset if the Jets lost their best player for the year! Since they were so thrilled when we lost ours.

And while we are on wishing injuries upon people, I most certainly wish a litany of injuries upon Bernard Pollard in tonight's game!!!!!

It didn't even take that long. Jets players were so ecstatic in their locker room the same day after their win (which, ironically, was in Miami) that the source of one of the rumours regarding the injury's severity was a Jets player who couldn't contain his excitement and was passing along what he "had heard."

Screw 'em. I'm not going to applaud Revis being out but I don't have any sympathy towards fanbases and teams who **** on us four years ago. It's part of the reason why I rolled my eyes every time the media went on about Roethlisberger being such a warrior last season with his ankle injury. That, and he also would magically heal himself when he wanted to run over to a ref and complain about a missed call.

So you imitate the same reaction you found so detestable? I'd like to think we have more class than that. is likely one of the GOAT at CB...the NFL would be boring with mediocre JAGS out there. I hope Revis is ok and we beat the Jets...you don't have to choose one over the other.

The NFL is great because of great players. While i wouldn't have minded had Revis' absence cost the Jets the game against Miami, I watch the NFL to see great players make insanely great plays, not rehab. Get well Revis, you Jet slime.

It will take some of the fun out of beating them.

They can't run the ball, they can't throw the ball, and now they may not be able to defend the ball nearly as well. Big problems. Amazing that they have a winning record.

Not For Long.

Jets fearing a torn ACL.. the only thing I can say is... I hope he also gets eye herpes. :D

Not gonna get all excited about an injury to anyone.

Also not gonna show off some self-righteous indignation at those who are enjoying the Jets best player going down.

It is what it is, right? Rooting for an injury is pathetic, but now that it has happened, I am having trouble getting all broken up over it. F Revis and F the Jets.

Which Jets players could not contain their excitement??? I don't remember that.

Revis is a great player who just happens to wear a Jets uniform. To be happy about his injury is not what i feel, I'm not sad about it but not happy.
