Matt Light said that Dan Koppen used to have a "dummy" set of shoulder pads he left in the visiting locker rooms. He would not use them. They were bait for the electronic bugs. He would then use his hidden, clean set of shoulder pads for the game.

That was said during an interview on ESPN, don't have the link, think it was Colin Cowherd. Just remembered it today and thought people would like to know that yes, teams are stealing a lot more than hand signals on the field. They steal everything that isn't nailed down.

Matt didn't explain how Koppen discovered this but the implications for defenses are enormous.

Also, they never complained to anybody. This is a good indicator of the mentality and attitude about covert intel behavior in the league. In fact Light and Cowherd laughed it off as a side bar that wasn't worth discussing. It was just life in the NFL, that sort of thing.

It does make me think back on all sorts of games when suddenly an offense was being picked apart as if the defense had a sixth sense. I have to wonder why I'd be interested in watching something like that. It would be like watching boxing where one guy has a lead weight in his glove.

But thats nothing compared to spygate.

Cowturd wasn't laughing over Spygate. It was as if his wife was raped and murdered.

not a chance teams are planting bugs in opponents shoulder pads lol

If this happened to the Jets, they would have snitched.

Jets=snitches. Snitches die.

When snitches are as guilty as those they snitch on.

I don't know if you've kept up with Mangini lately but he has said for certain that he never would have said anything if he had known what was going to happen. He just wanted the taping to stop. Somehow somebody took it and ran with it and the next thing we knew Goodell was doing what he did.

I must admit I don't recall who (in the media no doubt) took it and ran with it. What did they hope they would get out of that anyway? A raise? It reminds me of Paparazis who would sell their daughters to Satan for a buck.

Eric Mangina is a lying POS.
