Someone else usually does these but I figured it's already Friday and about time to get to it.

Sunday

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis 1pm est - Jville. For some reason still love seeing Colts lose.
Buffalo @ Cleveland 1pm est - Cleveland (division)
NY Jets @ Miami 1pm est - Miami (suck)
Kansas City @ New Orleans 1pm est - NO (NFC)
Cincinnatti @ Washington 1pm est -Washington (NFC)
Detroit @ Tennessee 1pm est - Tennessee (usually you go NFC but TENN is no threat, a Detroit loss here makes their other games vs. AFC more important for them)
San Francisco @ Minnesota 1pm est - San Fran, who knows maybe they wrap things up early enough to make our game unimportant. Unlikely but what else you gonna root for here.
St. Louis @ Chicago 1pm est - wow these games suck. rams i guess
Tampa Bay @ Dallas 1pm est - Tampa
Atlanta @ San Diego 4:05pm est - ATL
Philadelphia @ Arizona 4:05pm est - AZ

Thanks for starting the thread...

Thread is who to root for, NOT who will win, people

Sunday

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis 1pm Like the Jags; want The One to escape HOF after 3rd game

Buffalo @ Cleveland 1pm est - Browns hapless but Bills are AFCE enemies

NY Jets @ Miami 1pm est - Miami less of a threat

Kansas City @ New Orleans 1pm est - Rooting for Romeo and to keep AFCW a contest so the winner doesn't get a rest game or a bye

Cincinnatti @ Washington 1pm est - Big RGIII fan here

Detroit @ Tennessee 1pm est - Tennessee (usually you go NFC but TENN is no threat, a Detroit loss here makes their other games vs. AFC more important for them) Agreed.

San Francisco @ Minnesota 1pm est - Want SF to buy into the hype and relax

St. Louis @ Chicago 1pm est - always root against Cutler; his OL does

Tampa Bay @ Dallas 1pm est - Like Tampa; hate the Cows

Atlanta @ San Diego 4:05pm est - Can't root for Rivers & need all AFC contenders to rack up losses

Philadelphia @ Arizona 4:05pm est - my Cards! :) Always root against Vic in NFC games

Pittsburgh @ Oakland 4:25pm est - Oakland is FAR less of a threat

Houston @ Denver 4:25pm est - Rooting for Denver; hope they lube Peyton's neck bolts real good

Sunday Night
New England @ Baltimore 8:20pm est -

Monday Night
Green Bay @ Seattle 8:30pm est - Love watching the Pack self destruct even against Petey

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis - I'm starting to like this rebuilding Colts team.
Buffalo @ Cleveland - It's always funny when a team loses to the Browns, especially when they're a divisional opponent.
NY Jets @ Miami - Anyone but the Jest.
Kansas City @ New Orleans - I still root for Cassel.
Cincinnati @ Washington - NFC vs AFC; some competition in the NFCE is always good as well.
Detroit @ Tennessee - Couldn't care less.
San Francisco @ Minnesota - The 49ers are probably my second favorite non-Patriots team behind the Chiefs.
St. Louis @ Chicago - I love watching Cutler implode.
Tampa Bay @ Dallas - I hate Dallas and I picked the Bucs to improve this year.
Atlanta @ San Diego - As much as I hate the Atlanta hype machine, I have no issues with the actual team and I do have an issue with the Chargers because they have a better record than us.
Philadelphia @ Arizona - Because **** Vick. I also want to feel better about last week, and Arizona losing at home to Philly won't help.
Pittsburgh @ Oakland - Pittsburgh is a much bigger threat.
Houston @ Denver - Along with KC and SF, I've always liked the Texans since they came into existence.
New England @ Baltimore - Improves our draft position.
Green Bay @ Seattle - I desperately want to be right about Seattle breaking out this year, and I'm sick of the Green Bay Sore Losers.

NY Jets @ Miami 1pm est - Asteroid

But God-dell would probably fine BB 5 consecutive first round draft picks for altering the path of the asteroid causing it to hit Joe Robbie.

Green Bay @ Seattle 8:30pm est - Love watching the Pack self destruct even against Petey
How can you not go with Petey? I still love the guy even though I'm glad he moved on. And it should be a fun game because of that crowd and pass rush. Another feature is imagining how the Pats will look in that place soon against similar pass rush and running game. They definitely do some things well.

It seems like a hard game to pick though. It's like too many teams have had flip flop games, and I feel like I have no idea whether Jeckyl or Hyde shows up. It's a tough road game for the Pack and it will be for us as well. I don't give a crap what their record was in 2011.

not me!

After hearing a whole season of

Suckfer Luck! Suckfer Luck!

now they have old Suckfer in uniform, and it would serve them right if Suckfer Luck turns out to suck!

:D

miami! but i bet the jets on my cards and thing they should have no issue covering the 3pt spread IMO

That one's going to be fun to watch. It's a can't lose game for Pats fans: A Houston loss (unlikely) knocks down a playoff home-field challenger; the consolation prize is possibly getting to see that D devour Manning. He might not even be ale to shake his head at teammates' play by the time it's over.

ANY game where we get to see a Manning face or 3 is a game worth watching.

Elijah;
New England @ Baltimore - Improves our draft position.

Are you nuts? The winner of this game may very well have the tie-breaker for home-field advantage in the playoffs.

Yeah, it's presumptuous to think about the playoffs right now. One game at a time. Win the division first. Don't look ahead.

But this is a case where you SHOULD look ahead because of the long=term possibilities. This is a game the Patriots REALLY need to win.

It's about the only reason to watch Gints/Broncos games. BUT, it's a GOOD reason to watch them. :D

I wish there were a way 29 teams (2 played Thurs.) could lose this week-end. I hate everyone except NE.

So....... multiple asteroid strikes everywhere but Balmer, and New England gets a win.

And even then I wouldn't mind seeing one strike the other side of the 50 before kickoff.;)

Week 3 is the same as Week 2 is the same as Week 1:

Anyone but the NY Jets!

Jets Suck tradition must live on!

I gotta work a rare sunday today but I'm done at 7 so I can watch the last half of the late games and of course the sunday night game. It's disappointing that I'll miss a potential game of the year with the Jests/Fins...:bricks:

I wonder if I can convince my boss it's against my "religion" to work on football sunday's?

I'm a musician. One of the local pastors keeps leaning on me to come play keyboards at Sunday services for them. He gets really miffed when I explain to him that Sundays I worship at the Church of the Holy Uprights.
