Time Warner and Brighthouse agree to NFLN deal

The league has announced for those of you who have been waiting years. That will put the network in 70 million homes. Supposedly available this Sunday or by Thursday at the latest.

Yup the Football content is good, NFL films stuff or course. Most of the talking head shows I can do without but they do have a few good football guys.

Understood about getting the games. Their qualifications for a classic game seems to be big game in which the Pats lose to a Manning.

Directv pays a lot of money for those exclusive rights, so no one else will ever be able to have a package like that. Unless of course Directv does not continue to renew their rights every 7-10 yrs, although they have now for quite awhile and will likely to do so. It brings in millions of dollars in new subscribers for them every single yr.

If you're able to get Directv (some can't due to treelines or rules where they live in apts/condos etc) then I would do that. It's definitely worth it by far.

For now, the RedZone channel is the closest anyone can come to showing a multiple game highlight package, so that will have to tide you over.
