McDaniels is safe. I think that's good although some disagree.

This was from Shefter who's been pretty good. Pro Football Talk adds to it with a statement from I don't know who saying that Sarkesian might now be the OC after turning down the HC ? Seems really strange.

DAMN!!

McDaniels can still go to Dallas :)

LOL.

I think Belichick knows football - if he wanted Josh gone he could just fire or demote him, he wouldn't sit around hoping someone else would promote him . . .

I know, LOL. :D

But I was so hoping that they would take him off our hands. Look our players didn't execute when they had to last night. Another catch or two in critical situations and we might have won the game. But our OC didn't do a good job of adjusting to what the Colts were doing. And that has been my major gripe with Mcdaniels all year. He's got some work to do this offseason, IMO. He's learning on the job, and it's clear that he's got a long way to go. I guess we all have to be patient.

Mcdainels was not as bad as it looked, however the running game and not sticking with it is questioable at best...

:woohoo:

....

Be serious. No one wants Josh McDaniels. All that we heard was bull.
Belichick does. NEM doesn't.

Belichick > NEM.

LOL.

This is the only logical way to look at it. The notion that McDaniels is head coach material, especially at 30 years old, is nuts to begin with. I can't believe that anyone in Oakland would seriously consider him a candidate.

Basically that has been my major complaint, too, that he lacks thew ability to change, and adjust, or he mjust refuses to do so. and I dont think he ever will. I have to assume that is his nature, that he will stick with whatever he thinks was right, from the beginning, and he just wont adapt, or change.

He must go. He is the wrong person for the job, and if he is with this team next season in the capacity of OC, the team will be worse, not better.

He is the wrong person for the job.

He is of the mentality that its his way, or no other way...and he will cause havoc on this team. And, believe me, I know that I am right about him. As many others are now seeing. it just took a little longer for many more to accept that I had him pegged from the beginning. Without Josh, we had the game won yesterday.

NEM, have you ever stopped to think that you are condemning BB by extension? McDaniels doesn't work in a vacuum.

NEM McDaniels
- Lacks the ability to change: check
- Lacks the ability to adjust: check
- "He is of the mentality that its his way, or no other way": check

Everyone makes muistakes, even BB. Not condemning him, just pointing out a mistake he made. He is human.
Not just a mistake but making the same mistake over and over by keeping him. But NEM knows best
