Think of the benefits here. BB will be around all pros. He will be able to solicit free agents to be. Sure it's a pain to go, but of the few who may be free agents this year or next he can sell his concept to and might be able to get one high profile guy to come to foxboro.

He got his best impression of Rodney coaching a Pro-Bowl, years later Rodney is cut by San Diego, guess where he wound up...

Lance Briggs and Adalius Thomas are the only 2007 free agents in the Pro Bowl this year.

and he gets to bust LTs' ass.

Winner of the pro bowl gets home field for the super bowl next year!

good point, but I'm looking for the silver lining.

Well maybe we can get some of the Pro Bowlers to put a good word in for Belichick after he coaches them. He's a coach that you love to play for and hate to play against.

If anything it will give a lot of great players the chance to see that Belichick is a good coach and a good person. It seems like a lot of other teams really villify him because his superior game planning gives the Pat's an edge which they talk about almost like it's cheating.

I don't think Bill needs to watch pro bowlers in person to get them on his radar screen.

it's more about them getting bb on their radar screen

I could care less about the pro bowl...

Whatever the case, I'll now be watching the pro bowl.

Go BB! Go Seymour!

On his Mon chat on WEEI he was asked if he was looking forward to coaching the ProBowl and quickly replied, "Oh, I can't wait.."
I'm sure if there's any hay to be made, however, he'll make it.

BB was on the Big show today and they asked him "are you excited to coach the pro bowl?"

They knew and he knew it was a baited question.

"I cannot wait." in the most sarcastic tone ever.

Everybody blew up laughing.

BB says he's going to start LaDainian in the beach flag football game on the sand.

Never looked at it that way. Good insight.
