Anyone Else Have Trouble Sleeping Last Night ?

I was the same. I went to sleep around 3:00 my time and had to get up at 7:30. And boy am I in a miserable mood this morning.
Haven`t slept yet .
Worst loss than Oakland game

I went to bed at 1, then I tossed and turned all night thinking of what could have been. I had few weird dreams. One of my dreams I was sitting at a table with Richard Seymour discussing the game. Got about a total of 3 hours of sleep, i'm pretty grumpy this morning.

Listened to Freddy and Pete analyzing the game and slept like a baby. Woke up 5:00 am, went to the gym, took my dogs for a walk, ate breakfast and going to look for a deal on LCD or plasma tv's. Should be some great deals as the stores looked forward to huge sales before the super bowl. Now, WTF cares.

I took a sleeping pill about 2 a.m.

Yup, I'm running on fumes today. Couldn't get Addai's winning TD and Brady's game-ending pick out of my head. I couldn't get over that the Colts won this game in Patriots fashion...making huge plays in the 2nd half on *both* sides of the ball (their D made several huge plays on 3rd down). I know this year was a reloading year (it's never a "rebuilding" year when you've got Tom Brady, that DL and OL all under 30) and winning it all was not something I was expecting in September, but when you're up 21-3 in the AFCCG and looking forward to facing Rex Grossman in two weeks, title number four looks pretty good. These opportunities don't come around that often and shouldn't be taken for granted. Look at the 1990s Cowboys: 3 titles in 4 years, then nada as the rest of the NFC caught up (and San Diego looks to be shaping up as the 1990s Packers while the Colts are already the 1990s 49ers). I think that's what kept me up the most...realizing this was a prime opportunity lost and a similar one might not come back for some time.

In contrast, I slept like a baby after the loss to Denver last year. Losing 27-13 in a game where you turn it over 5 times is just one you chalk up to "just not our year".

Regards,
Chris

I was awake in the middle of the night replaying that damn PI on Troy at the end of the first half. Damn.

I did.

That's too funny that others had the same experience.

I went to bed about 11:30pm EST and woke up about 2:30am...

Never really got back to sleep again.

Sat in a chair watching a National Geographic "Taboo" special about people who cross gender lines...female body builders, men in India who dress in wedding gowns for some yearly ritual, female wrestlers in Japan, transvestites...

Very educational!

And I have a softball game @ 9:30pm tonight so I'll feeling the effects of this loss well into Tuesday!

Definitely. Slept through my alarm for an hour this morning (couldn't sleep till 3AM)

Omygod yes. I went got home from watching the game around 10:30, went online for a few minutes (just trying to unwind a bit and commiserate with my fellow pats fans), then went to bed at 11:15. I tossed and turned, with my head buzzing with thoughts of the game, until about 1:40 a.m., at which time I got up and took a Benedryl. Then I went back to bed, and after an hour was still awake, so I went to my computer and came back here for a bit, then went back to bed at 3:30 and finally got a couple of hours of sleep. I'm a walking zombie today.

The good thing was I was able to give all my coworkers that "don't even THINK about talking to me today" look. Not even any damn eye contact. Maybe I'll talk tomorrow . . . we'll see ;)

Brrrraaaaaaiiiinnnsss!

I'm a mega-zombie today. I've been snippy to everybody today. It's not so much the loss that's making me grumpy...it's the lack of sleep.

I must have slept from 2 AM to 4:30 and no more. It wasn't that I was thinking about the game, but I just couldn't find a way to fall asleep.

Yes I got till about 3 in the morning and woke up thinking it was all a dream till I heard the score on the radio then it finally hit ahhhhhhhh

After the game it felt like I just took the SAT's after running a marathon.

I tried everything. Watching other TV shows, but everything reminded me of the f*cking game. Tried sleeping but the final sequence of events kept playing in my head. Just felt like it wasn't supposed to end that way, and that feeling kept me up all night. Not good. I feel a little better now but this one is going to hurt for a while.

I know I did, it felt like someone died.

I don't know what it's like to watch someone die before my eyes, and I hope I never do. But this felt like the sports equivalent of it.

As Troy Brown is famous for saying, BINGO.

What the hell is sleep? Honestly, I have been a wreck since last night. I couldn't sleep, and I had to avoid all media outlets, so I threw on some NBA TV, hoping to see some Western Conference hoops, maybe seeing Nash and the Suns running on people, instead I got to see a documentary on Wilt Chamberlain, while not a fan of his, it was better than the other crap on TV. I decided to pass out while watching a UFC DVD from about 1 AM until 3 AM. Then for some reason, I had to take a shower, I felt dirty. Laid back in bed, tossed, turned, so I threw on some more UFC, passed out from about 4:30 until 6. Took another shower after that, why, I have no clue. I threw on some 360, played some Live 07, wrecked Portland with the Cavs in my season, then went to work with a look on my face that screamed "Look at me even the wrong way and I will hurt you."

Even tonight, I have been anti social. Not talking to friends or family, just feeling like somebody walked up to me and kicked me in the nuts, then took my dog and shot him, then stole my X-Box 360.

i was up until 3 last night watching national geographic...seemed like the only channel that wasn't football related.....i'm gonna try a new show like "heroes" tonight or something. didnt even go to the mailbox to get the herald this morning. no radio no espn for me for awhile. maybe i'll watch more history channel or something, become more rounded.

I was passed out at 11PM but up for good by 2 AM. Woke up mad!

Yeah I just couldn't get a good night's rest. Amazing how much a football game can affect you. It's just a game though is what I tell myself.
