3 of the next 4 games are on the road. (4 of the next 6) Baltimore, Buffalo and Seattle, with a home game against the Broncos after Baltimore and Buffalo.

Winning in Baltimore has much more meaning than just winning one game. It can be a catalyst for the remainder of the season......

Even with a schedule that has more home games than road games in the second half of the season, it is not good to have to come from behind.

The Jets, for example, after next week's game in Miami have four out of five at home and one stretch is THREE STRAIGHT HOME GAMES. (How the hell does that happen? Oh yeah, Goodell is from New York)

That puts a lot of emphasis on winning in Baltimore..... while it may seem that, on the surface, today's stunning defeat is, as some are saying, just one game.... but it can be far more damaging than that with the upcoming schedules of the Pats and Jets, as they are.

I will not sleep well for the next few days.

yeah but for the jets..they play 49ers and houston back to back after MIA...so they would easily be 2-3 after that. I am more worried about balt. Buffalo i think we will win. Seattle i think we win as well as denver since it's at home and i still think they are overrated

They beat balt next week...all is well..they lose..i still think all is well as they will win 3+ in a row after that. But who knows.

IF pats do lose next week....expect them to trample the bills..losing 3 in a row doesn't happen really ever around here

Unless NE totally tanks it after today and loses its grasp on the division....which none of us see.,I see a clear 1-2-3 seed in the AFC consisting of Baltimore,Houston and NE

If NE loses this game then it's a MUST game against Houston later down the line or it's wild card weekend.

Then again if they pull out a win in Baltimore and beat Houston, the bye week is a virtual guarantee.

i really want a bye this year..but wouldn't mind a 3 seed playing a wildcard team. But they have to win the division first..which should easily happen unless the jets somehow beat the 49ers and houston

I believe the Ravens play 3 games in 17 days....is that right?

THURSDAY FOOTBALL HAS GOT TO GO... IT CREATES TOO MANY PROBLEMS FOR TOO MANY TEAMS.

ALL NFL GAMES NEED TO BE ON SUNDAY WITH ONE MONDAY NIGHT GAME A WEEK.

And one other thing, that POS Goodell has to go, too.

goodell is an employee of the owners- he does exactly what they want him to do(like a high paid employee should do). the fault is with the owners- if it isn't goodell it would be someone else.;)

Seattle on the road could be a tough game. The Seahawks physically dominated Dallas yesterday. Like Arizona (who they played tough on the road week 1) the Seahawks have a physical defense with a lot of weapons. They have a better offense than Arizona. That one will not be an easy game.

Thing is Dallas never wins or plays well on the west coast at all. Don't know why. They just don't

Your observations are right on the mark. This team is going to have
to improve a lot right away or have a 4-4 record or worse at the break.

The offensive line is awful. Trouble is you can't make shineola out
of ******. Dante Scarnecchia needs some good bodies to work with.
Where do you find them this time of year? A couple more games
with numerous sacks and hits and Brady will be out for the year.

Why do you sit the best slot receiver in the game at all?
Trying to prove you can get along without him? They can't!

Brandon Lloyd can make amazing catches but drops easy ones.

Gostowski is a good kicker but Adam Vinatieri was a clutch kicker.
