Pats should win in a blowout. I'm looking to see if any of the three CBs can stand out and assert himself. So far, I see us having 3 good, shaky CBs but not one great one.

Arizona is 8-2 in their last 10 games, this is not gonna be as easy as some you think. I worry about the Cardinals pass rush against our somewhat suspect O-line. I worry about our db's against Fitzgerald and others. IF we can sack Kolb a few times, I'll feel like we can win this one by 10 or more, no pressure, this could be a tough game. Go Pats !!!

RB Shane Vereen
WR Greg Salas
CB Alfonzo Dennard
TE Daniel Fells
DE Jake Bequette
DE Justin Francis
DL Marcus Forston

Sitting out of this one.

Fells? I don't know if I want Hoomanawanui being the third TE...

Psyched for the game. Been engrossed in a work project but checked in here once in a while; pretty quiet week — in a good way (other than the Vereen stuff). let's hope it keeps up.

The 4th TE is active when the 3rd TE is injured.

Salas... hmm wonder if he'll ever see the field before the inevitable release. Also wondering how bad Vereen's foot is.
Regarding Salas, not too worried, we didn't give up much to get him, BUT I'd like him to get a chance to show what he has before we cut him loose.

Regarding Vereen, disappointed as always with him not being able to get on the field.

Who do you guys follow on Twitter, with the latest Pats updates on injuries and so on?? Not talking about players

Would also be nice to have a young receiver on the roster for next year.

THey surely don't trade for him to bust him loose do they?

And the Vereen bashing resumes..........NOW

2011 Arizona Cardinals Football Schedule

This was the Cardinals' schedule last year. They really didn't beat anyone "good". The eagles were bad last year, Dallas self-destructed. They only beat the 49ers at home (division games are always tough).

They lost to Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Giants, Redskins and Vikings. I'm not saying we should be overconfident, but I was more nervous for our previous game than this one. Season opener against an nfc WEST opponent playing at 1pm (which is 10am PT), and riding on the crowd's emotional support of Troy Brown's induction.

Bring on the Cardinals.

He practised this week. It's probably more to do with he isn't really needed today so give him an extra week of recovery.

Who is this Vereen everybody keeps writing about???

Heh that's an interesting way of putting it. Good yet shaky? I don't think none of them have proven themselves to be above average right now. 2010 McCourty was in good category though.

I know i'm probably pipe dreaming, but I was hoping Dennard might get some PT early this year. I see him as a physical athletic if your face corner we may need when it matters.

It's gonna be a bloodbath today. Cardinals are one of the weakest teams in the league, heading east for an early game. Should be a cakewalk. Of course, BB will have the boys ready.
Spoken like a true game day chicken little. 8-2 in their last 10 is a record that is not given out to one of the weakest teams in the league. In fact the only team with a better record is the 9-1 Pats.

Its so like you guys to create such high expectations, so that when the least little thing goes wrong you can panic like a nun with a late period.

From what i have read ..cardinals D is very good and they are very pittsburgh like. They wont play the standard D the titans played and will throw a lot of looks and pressures. Its going to be a challenge and wont be surprised if this is a close game

If they don't win by 20+, something went wrong. Pressure on Kolb should lead to gift INTs.
