This is awesome. Dude is definitely still in the fold. Did anyone see this tonight on Patriots All Access?

Patriots All Access - 9/14/2012

~14 minute mark.

that's gotta be cheating, right...it's just not fair...I mean, how would WE like it if LaDoneandgone was recorded helping out Joe McKnight???...it's just not classy...:bricks:

Teaching Joe how to whine and sit on the bench with injuries as severe as a paper cut is not really hard to learn

Ok that is it, I have seen enough evidence to suggest that Joker is obsessed with Jets. No other explanation.

Love Ridley's slashing style, but he needs to get compact in tight quarters. Needs to tuck that ball in, those defenders are slashing at it for a reason, they think they can knock it loose. Leading with your head in the end zone isn't a winning proposition in the long run either.

Just saying. He's young and these adjustments are very doable.

Concur. Get those corrected early on and he'll last a lot longer and have a better career, hopefully.

Faulk's insights will be valuable to this young man and I'm glad he's doing this.

OK, folks (that means especially, you Joe ;) ) - - this thread is a Jet free zone. Let's keep it on topic.

I've always had the feeling that Kevin Faulk will make a great coach one day. When he was on the field, he struck me as a player who was thinking on his feet and then executing.

Faulk just cannot stop being a Patriot.he will die being a Pat. I love the fact that he sticks around, and as others have mentioned, I hope he becomes a coach on the team. As far as Ridley, we've seen much improvement this year. He carries the ball higher, cuts better... And who better to groom him than Faulk.

Faulk would be a great RB coach.
Many RB's get in the league bc they can carry the ball, but Faulk's strengths were the other things that make a complete back - awareness, pass blocking, chipping, catching, runs after catch, etc

Its interesting that in a league where there is a coach for almost every player, BB keeps the smallest coaching staff in the league. But if coaching is in your future, this is where you'd want start. If BB does one thing better than coaching NFL players, its training NFL coaches.

Still I have a feeling that the main reason Keven is up in Boston now is to stay in shape and cement his position on to the "shadow roster". I believe he desperately still wants to play.

Kevin for RBs coach!!

Kevin for RBs coach!!

Ivan Fears does a pretty damn good job (other than Maroney).

BJGE was an off the radar UDFA and he turned him into a 1,000 yard rusher. Ridley was miscast in college as a beefed up FB, Fears saw that he could slim down and be a quicker to the hole runner. Good eye.

Ridley, summoned by Kevin to come look at some new film, rushes over to Kevin's desk.

Kevin: Ridley! Look at me when I'm talking to you!

CRASH!!!!

Kevin: Sorry Rids about that banana peel someone dropped there. You'll heal quickly from that ACL at your young age.

There's no doubt faulk was on his way off the team when he took the challenge and corrected his fumble problem and became an outstanding blitz pickup back.

Couldn't think of anyone better to teach, he made the most of his strengths, minimized his weaknesses.

I heard Maroney stopped by as well in the Pats locker room during each preseason game to show Ridley how a REAL superstar RB should run after the snap.

Here is Lomo demonstrating his successful moves to Stevan
