Over at my blog, Fester's Place: http://www.festersplace.typepad.com, I am just going through the Steeler's roster with an eye towards the probable cast-offs that will occur due to the hiring of Mike Tomlin. Coach Tomlin is a 4-3 Cover 2 coach of the Dungy/Tampa-2 line. He wants to install the defense that he is comfortable with on his new team, and that makes perfect sense. However the Steelers' defense a 3-4 power scheme has personnel that don't fit the 4-3 Cover 2. Do you think that the Patriots would like to make a run at the following places who may be displaced by the change in defense?
DE Brett Keisel --- a little bit small for a 3-4 end, could be a very solid rotation player.
ILB Larry Foote --- young, fast and a good hitter with plenty of expience as a starter in the 3-4
OLB Clark Haggans --- good pass rusher and run edge setter -- most likely will convert to a 4-3 DE pass rush end.
DT/NT Chris Hoke --- a very solid back-up nose tackle for Casey Hampton, held the fort well when Hampton was injured in the 2005-2006 season
