Finally, why put Heath Evans in the backfield on our final drive, instead of Faulk or Maroney? Idiocy.

With our talent on defense and offense, McDaniels handicapped this team to only 12 wins this year and made many 'rookie' mistakes as a coordinator.

It's easy to second guess the reasons why Evans was in or Faulk was out or this or that, but we have no idea if the other players were cramping up, getting sick, too gassed to play etc etc. Who knows.

McDaniels was up for some HC job and I was hoping he'd get it!

I actually thought the same thing. He knew the Patriots were fighting the flu and might have temperatures. And also he knew that they were dealing the the fatigue of travelling to CA and back. I wouldn't put it past that rat bastard.

BTW,,It was mentioned on EEI...that Faulk jhad some injury and that was why he was NOT in the game...so enough of the other talk about other thigs

thanks for clarifying. faulk is SO critical to the pats offense that it had to be an injury.

thats another thing that you could say cost us the game. for chrissake, to line up all 2nd half with no faulk in those spread formations!! faulk was the one running the draws well and coming out of the backfield for short passes....
