We are moving to the Rodman lot this season. Any PatsFans members are welcome to stop by and say hello. Even if you are coming in for just one game this year ... contact me and we will send you the info about joining us! This tailgate Fangroup was featured in GameDay magazine last year. We are a family friendly group of Patsfans that have been together since 1996. We also try to do a road trip to an away game every year.

Stop by and introduce yourself!

Hi Mark,
We are a group of 8 girls traveling to Foxboro for the November 11th Patriot's game for our friend's bachelorette. We are looking for a spot to do some tailgating and have some fun! Would your group welcome us? We are all very friendly and would bring some snacks for all! Are we allowed to bring our own wine and beer? Do you have any recommendations? We will be staying in Boston and plan on taking the train (?) to Foxboro. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Absolutely ... Check the time the train is heading to the stadium and how early it arrives before the game. It may not give you alot of time before the game. Send me a private message and I'll send you the directions from the train (its very easy to find) and more about our tailgating group. Bring your own wine and beer, but remember you can't bring anything into the stadium. The train leaves very shortly after the game.

Hey Mark,
I'm relatively new to patriots tailgating and since you and your crew have been doing it for awhile I'm wondering if you can answer some questions for me. My buddies and I have gotten our hands on season tickets however due to cost we split 2 tickets amongst 5 of us. Because we bought them as a crew, we want to tailgate together and we've heard that rodman ford is the way to go. Does that private lot allow use of a generator so that we can set up our tv? Also will the 3 rotating friends who don't have tickets for individual games be able to stay in the lot and watch the game on the tv while its going on? Or do people get kicked out once the games begin? I really appreciate your help its been difficult for me to find out this information. GO PATS
Thanks,
Jerome

Jerome,

I don't know the policy for teh private lots (Rodman) since this is the first year we will be trying them. However, the Patriots lots allow generators but not people without tickets. They do not check each car as they pull into the lot. I understand they do not allow people without tickets to stay in the lots during the game.

Hope it helps ... You are welcome to join us if you want!

Unfortunately if you take the train then you will not have any time to tailgate; you will barely have time to get to your seats for kickoff based on the train's schedule.

If you want to partake of the tailgating experience perhaps you may want to consider using this bus service to the game, so you can arrive a bit earlier:

Enjoy the game!

For years, we've tailgated in a private lot more on the North side. Folks have used generators for different appliances with nooo hassle.
BTW, I remember I lost my tix once and though the lot was quiet, there were a few fans (like me without a tix) watching the game.

Enjoy the game!

They cancelled the bus for the Cardinals game due to lack of interest so I'll have to hire a car and drive in now which is a total pain

Are there lots of private lots around for parking or is it really limited to the stadium ones

And do you need to be there 4 hours in advance to get parked?

Plan was get there hour or so before to take it in then stay afterwards to take in the hall while the traffic all clears out

Sorry to hear about the bus was cancelled. My friends and I at Rootless have created a way to help fans ride together. Maybe we can help you find a ride or help you fill your car with other fans going to the game. Check it out at rootless.me/patriots . I hope we can help you get to the game.

are you coming from the North or South. We come down from the north and there are plenty of lots to park. Private lots are more expensive the closer you get to Gillette.

Great idea, we've registered.

Thanks for your help buddy

I am taking my family to the niners game in December. We are flying to Boston from Utah. I was wondering if you guys, or others, sell food during the tailgating? Obviously, we won't be able to bring our own tailgating supplies, but we still want to participate in the atmosphere. Thanks

You are more than welcome to join us and we always have extra food and drink. We don't sell food but we do have a donation jar for our designated charity 2020visionquest. if interested send me a private message.

Mark,

WE are pumped living out the dream to be a pats fan for the day.., coming into town for the game from Detroit. We rented a 30foot camper we are driving in with 3 other buddys four total.., we have our face paint pats gear and beer and jello shots!!! We need your guidance on where to come meet up with your group..., we can also bring some additional beverages and meat if you guys can help us cook it and we can hang out prior to the game this sunday...,

Also looking for best place to sleep saturday night and park the camper before game day.., preferably somewhere not to expensive and where we can plug the camper in for the night.., Also send us directions to where you park and what time you get there. Cant wait for SUNDAY

30 foot camper ... I hate to burst your bubble but the only place I know that will accomodate that is the Patriots parking in Entrance P10. Now for the bad part .... $125 to park it there! I don't know of any camp grounds in the area. You might want to check KOA site. I don't think our lot will allow a 30 ft camper.

I'll look into it more and get back to you.

Andrea,

Look on the Patriots website link below for the parking map
Gillette Stadium - Patriots Parking

P2 is the entrance! Look at the Parking Map. If you are coming from the north (going south on Rte 1)the Rodman lot is right at the 1st Pedestrian crossing Rte 1. If you park anywhere in Entrance P2, find the walkway the pedestrians use from the commuter train. Follow the green line and instead of going through the tunnel under the road, stay along the parking lot and head toward Rte 1. Cross Rte 1 and look to your left for our sign and tailgate.

Mark,

Man that would really suck and i mean not being able to party and tailgate with you.., we don't care about the money.., maybe if you check if your lot will let us park and pay $100/120 we will bring cash..., please let us know your thoughts. I am assuming the on the premise lot is not as much fun????

Is it even work going there to tailgate pre-game???

Just got my pats face paint kit.., life long dream to be a pats fan for a day and what a game it will be
