I think it's amazing that the Patriots have rebuilt the team while winning 10+ games per year.

If they are going to broadcast press conferences, why don't the have a mike in the press room so you can hear the questions?

The Patriots are 14 point favorites this week. No NFL team should be 2 TD favorites in week 2.

Why do some football fans think it's unusual for football players, who play a collison sport, to be injured?

From 2007-now Tom Brady has more wins than any other QB, even though he missed 15 games in the 2008 season. (By the way, he has 11 losses in those years, vs 55 wins.)

The older I get, the kinder and gentler the NFL becomes...

Conrad Dobler would be carried away in chains by Goodell's goon squad if he played on an NFL field today.

The overall speed of the game across the board has to be the most startling development in the past decade.

More and more the media focuses on the ancillary trivialities associated with an NFL game and less about the actual game as it is in progress.

I used to be able to do a near 180 degree split and throw crescent kicks head high...these days I can't even touch my toes without grunting and can only throw front ball kicks..but on the plus side, the increased weight gives my hands the mini-sledgehammer effect.

The most infuriating thing about a pet cat is it reacts exactly like an ex-wife...the only time it purrs is when it wants something.

I only have 1...

Why do fans know something doesn't deserve a thread but feel compelled to open the thread anyway?

was that a joke?

May I suggest a name change from Joker to Not Funny

I can't believe it's on to game 2 already - it's like camp just started last week ... way too quick.

I wish football was like a good pipe ... packed hard and enjoyed slowly.
