It has just sunk in that Bill Belichick and his staff will be coaching the Pro Bowl, which cannot be what LT and the rest of San Diego's Pro Bowlers wanted.

As Pats fans, this is also not what we wanted for the obvious reasons......

A.) WE WANT TO BE IN THE SUPER BOWL
B.) I'm so over this Pats-Chargers feud, but you know that it will be brought up in the week after the Super Bowl.

Well I'll be watching the Probowl for the first time in years.

Still not sure about the SB.

He wont be there, he'll send an assistant....remember when Parcells did that and sent Bill?

It would be funny to see the awesome nine of the chargers sit on the bench and not get into the game except for those who were voted in as starters who would play the first series. Another thought, LT as a gunner on punt coverage?

LT as a gunner does have a certain amount of appeal; but I expect BB show up and play things straight with those 9 Chargers on the field exactly the way they should be played. Its the right thing to do and the best way to point out just how moronic LT's comments really were.

I'm thinking he won't go either. I think he would view that as a frivolous waste of his time when he has to get ready for the draft, but people will look at it like he is being an ass.

He has already proved that. Going or not going won't change that. Did you see how he acted after the game?

how is pro bowl coaching determined?
is it the loser of the Conf Championship game? (because the winner has to prep for the Super Bowl?)

What did he do a Merriman dance? Did he call the Colts classless and suggest that it comes from Dungy?

He said the Colts made the plays when it counted.

Do you seriously believe he didn't look like an ass? Doesn't matter what anyone else did, answer the question. What does Merriman's dance have to do with how Belichick looks or is perceived? Especially after a game played against the Colts. Last I checked Merriman plays for the Chargers.

Did he call the Colts classless and suggest that it comes from Dungy?

He couldn't possibly suggest that the Colts OR Dungy were classless because there is absolutly no past history to suggest it. The Colts have endured excruciating losses to the Patriots. Dungy and his team have handled them with class and grace. They are the role models that all other NFL teams should follow. A few Patriots and Bill should take a look and learn.

He said the Colts made the plays when it counted.

I saw it, you saw it. Classless and ungracious. Every team loses, some just have more class. You can't spin it, hell, even a professional spin doctor would have a hard time spinning the way Bill comes off.

At the end of the game I saw Bill shake Tony Dungy's hands, give him a hug, talk with him for a long while in what appeared to be a freindly manner, and gave him a farewell pat before moving away. What did you see?

if Goerge Hallas, Vince Lombardi.. lived and coached today, the idiots in the media, and ignorants like you would have called them classless and ungracious also... those two were rude, angry always after a loss.
what you fail to understand moron..is that Billichick is from the same mold that Hallas and Lombardi are from, competitive, smart , and grouchy men that take losing very deep...that what makes them winners.
BB will be damned if he will play the media games...he was shocked and disappointed that the game ended that way, he sought Dungy, hugged him, talked to him and left, men with BB winning drive can be so focussed that they concentrate on the important things only...I bet you douchbag that he preferred to be with his team, the men that gave it all on the field more than stand there with media idiots to answer their inane questions over and over again.

I will take BB with his grumpy rude demeanor over your returning coach and every other coach in the league...

and isn't it time for classless charger fans to stay at their boards ? talk about inferiority complexes

I hope he will not go. I wouldn't if I was him.

I am not speaking specifically of the "handshake and hug". I am speaking of his postgame attitude and his history of boorish behavior.

I hope he does go. It was noted in 03 that was how he became exposed to Rodney. So if for no other reason he should go to assess any future potential players that they might have an interest in. Now are you going to tell me his time was wasted coaching the Pro Bowl for Parcel’s and found out that Harrison is his kind of player? Could happen again.

I do not know where you are from, but I strongly suggest you go back there and stay there. It is easy to write that trash when you will not come face to face with some one. Child.

Pao is a Chargers fan FWIW. So he knows what's classy and what's not.

Angry is understandable. Rude as Hallas and Lombardi, if they were, doesn't excuse it and doesn't change it.

No, you go too far. What made/make them winners, from your list, was that they were/are competitive and smart and took/take losing very hard. Being grouchy has nothing to do with making them winners.

What media games? You mean the ones where the coach is interviewed after the game? The one that is required by the league? The one where the people, who are the target of the networks that pay BILLIONS of dollars to his league, interested in his views are watching? That's not a game. That's his business.

Yes, that WAS quite an effort by BB.

You wrote...

Good sportsmanship is unimportant?

As would every other coach in the league at that moment. So what? Be a man, answer the questions to the best of your abilities, then go be with your team.

No question he is great coach, won't argue that. Just don't try to say he has any class or grace or doesn't act like an ass, which is what my posts are about. Apparently you agree. If you want an argument that BB isn't a great coach you won't get it from me.

Classless, funny, pot calling the kettle black. I haven't trolled. I haven't rubbed Patriot's fans nose in their loss. I haven't called other posters names (something you do,now that is classless). I am sorry for your team's loss, I know the feeling. One thing I don't know a thing about...being a fan of a SB winning team. Maybe some day.
