Connolly may not be cleared to practice until Friday because the league's concussion process.

vagisil must have cleaned things up for vereen

Don't like the news on Dan Connolly at all i hope his concussions are not in the Mike Wright, Austin Collie territory.:(

Vereen would have to have a lights out practice to see the football field on gamedays. I think he officially # 4 on the RB chart.

Word is that it was a mild concussion, but the NFL rules for players with concussions no matter how mild make it hard for a player to return back until Friday.

Thanks Rob good to know...they will proabably sit him for a week. More good reps for Marcus Cannon who i think could excell at Guard.

that's a bit ridiculous, Vereen was in contention for the #1 RB position in camp before he got in injured. With Ridley's performance on Sunday he will not be the #1, but he will get his reps in this offense, especially due to his pass catching abilities.

as long as he doesn't get hit in the twat......again

Funny how critical fans can be of the toughness of men who play in the NFL.

95% of you probably didn't even hack it on your HS squads.

lol at tough guys in this forum calling a professional football player a ***** because he got injured

Don't make it out like Ridley has the job only because of that one game. He's outperformed Vereen in every way since they both got here. Last week was Vereen's 14th game out of 19 in which he was inactive, Ridley has been active for every game in his NFL career except the Ravens playoff game, which Vereen was also inactive for.

I hope this is the end of using Connolly at FB.

I mean forchrissake he's now the starting RG.

As for the Vereen comments. Internet tough guys at their best.

It constantly amazes me how some posters think getting injured is an inexcusable failing of character, deserving of the internet equivalent of whipping in the stocks.

Vereen had his ankle rolled. This makes him a baby? (Or worse yet, female?)

I'm very glad to have Vereen back. I think he'll be a good addition to this offense.

Yeah, right now I think when healthy, Verneen is the clear cut #2 RB in this offense. I think Ridley locked up the #1 position on Sunday.

Having Vereen the #2 back over Woodhead is a big PLUS :rocker:

Let Woody and Vereen rotate to keep Ridley fresh.

Once Pats have the lead and the defense gets into the 4th qtr run Vereen and Ridley til the D can't stand.

I like Vereen and am glad he's back, he has the potential to be a real X-factor in the offense.
