And its not Ross Ventrone.

Well now!

May be a good sign for Fells' health.

Hmm, a big, in-the-box SS type. (And if you're wondering, it's pronounced like Kyle.)

Best wishes to Silvestro, but there wasn't a lot of room behind 4 TEs on the 53, 1 on revocable IR, and 1 on PUP.

Yeah, but they could have put him back at DE where he started. . . .

Bill Belichick must be losing his touch!

The New England Patriots have one less tight end under contract.

I would be willing to bet Silvestro (if he's not picked up by another team) will be back as soon as next week but definitely at some point this year. This is most likely a game planning/practice rep type move.

Unfortunately I think the guy who got de cleated on that hit is our new safety, not the receiver who made the hit...

Yep, Quarles is returning a pick there.

Did five guys get hurt? What's not to understand about a 6'3" 212 lb safety in today's game?

[He apparently grew 1 1/2 inches between the combine and today's Reiss (Rodak) column. Anyway, he's big and possibly getting bigger everyday.]:p
