the day I die. It will get way easier over time. But just like tough playoff losses for other teams, I will never get over it.

Its like the first girl (or guy) that you fell in love with, and then she broke up with you. You will always remember her, even if remembering the good times brings up the bad.

Except that girl is Dan Klecko, and that just doesnt sit right..

I'd have no trouble forgetting a girl who looked like Klecko. Makes me think of Rosie O'Donnell in shoulder pads.

I hate Dan Klecko so hard right now.

Top priority right now is getting homefield advantage in the playoffs next year.

Even the #2 would be great too. But it's obvious a bye would have really helped this team.

We know the Pats haven't gone anywhere at the top of the AFC East. They just have to get better than they were this year and last year, next year.

You may get over it 98%. or 99.8%. But you will never get over it. Whether you admit it to yourself or not.

see above...

Im critical of how this turned out, but not that disappointed. Our season actually turned out better than I'd expected given the conditions.

Now, maybe if Chud Jackson had made more than one contribution this season, or if LOMO didn't somehow morph into SLOMO...

or if Seau, Wilson, Harrison, weren't broken....

Re: We'll Get Over This Loss . . .

Even without a bye, just staying at home for this week would have been huge. Instead we had 4 road games in 5 weeks.

hmmm...no
I am starting to get over it already...still sad that there is no Pats football anymore, but that was a hard fought game, and the team left everything on the field
games you don't get over are the ones when your team deserves the win and loses on a fluke play or because of the Refs....

OK, I'll change the subject.

I'll Get Over This Loss when I die :D

I thought last night that I'd move on from this quickly; but I feel worse this morning. Its obvious that this loss has some staying power.

Maybe I should go kick Harry boy over in the political forum:D

Good Point.....I'd forgotten we were on the road 4 out of 5 weeks. In the light of the next day,it makes
them look more heroic.......don't ya think?

I'll never get over this loss.

I love our team and the players 100%. I cannot fault the effort at all. At the end we just didn't have enough. But I'll never get over the fact that we could have won the Super Bowl this year.

We must move on after grieving. Never give up hope. Next season is always closer than we think.

It sucks that they lost but there is no shame in being clearly the third best team in the league.

I think I can live with this loss. The Pats were beaten by superior play, there was no BS from the officials like Denver last year. Its a tough loss, but if a team straight up beats you, you just need to tip your cap and wish them luck.

I hate making excuses, so I hope this doesn't sound like one, but our defense looked completely worn out the second half. This is where the losses to the Jets and Indy earlier in the year killed us because the Pats had to travel to San Diego and lay everything they had on the field last week. They just didn't have enough left in the tank to keep up with Indy's high powered offense.

Tough loss, but not surprising considering the place the team put itself in. That's why I can live with it.

Im not sure going to take some time, Denver I was over after the Super Bowl.. But this one is going to stay around alot longer...
