I'm defining exposed as a problem that I don't think was a fluke or anomaly.

Mike Vick got exposed as a guy that is simply not elite, making the same old mistakes, costing his team nearly the most embarrassing loss of the year. Maybe this exposed the Eagles' offense as whole too.

The Bills defense. Where the hell was Mario Williams? Are you telling me the Jets offense is that good? The Bills forced Sanchez to look good. Mother Theresa could have sat in that pocket without being hurried.

Fitzpatrick was exposed as somebody who can't seem to shake the inconsistency bug.

The Jets defense gave up a ton of yards to Spiller but I am going to count it as exposure. It would be nice though.

The Packers defense was exposed for not being fixed. They can't run the ball either. The Bears look better to win that division.

The Saints were exposed on both sides of the ball, probably miss those coaches, clearly not able to cope with a rookie QB running Baylor plays.

Brandon Weeden is probably exposed as putrid, but I'll give him a pass since it was his inauguration and it was against the Eagles.

Is Pete Carroll exposed? Say it ain't so Joe. His team wasn't ready and he has no reliable receivers for a rookie QB. That's not good engineering for his third year.

Was Chris Johnson exposed or did the Patriots just do their job? Jury still out but I think the Pats played a disciplined game despite having three rookies starting. That is a mighty good sign. So maybe CJ will bounce back against lesser defenses. Har.

Pack D still sucks

Bills are going to be bad again this year

Jets D line still can't get sacks/pressure on the QB

I think Chris Johnson was exposed last year. It's been pretty apparently that he's a shell of his former self for over a year now. Part of why, while I'm optimistic about our run D, I'd still like to see more before getting totally amped. Shutting down CJ2k isn't the feat that it used to be.

I'm not sure I'd be writing CJ off just yet. The penetration the Patriots DL were getting yesterday was impressive. Half the time Wilfork or another lineman was in the backfield by the time he received the handoff.

I think the most disturbing and disappointing QB was Stafford.

Yeah, they won the game, but Stafford was putrid against arguably one of the worst defenses in the NFC...4 picks and winning the game almost never go together.

Any other team but the Rams and Detroit is 0-1

I was hoping there'd be pictures involved here, but sadly...I was let down.

Then again, it would depend on the image :bricks:

I got exposed for not having the manliest voice after Lloyd's drop on the first drive

Really putrid is right, but I'd call it a first week anomaly. That cannot be the Stafford we're going to see for the rest of the year.

OTOH is Vick who I almost expect to implode if somebody doesn't straighten him out.

It came to me as no surprise that the Lions offense starting to click as they straightened out the pass/run ratio. They throw it way too much in Detroit.

I picked the Rams, so I am freaking upset the Lions won.

Patriots secondary got exposed as a possible weakness. We'll see how they progress.

He'll be fine. He was elite last year. I'm a big fan of his.

Not entirely convinced about oline. Brady wasnt hit or sacked a lot but he did run more than usual. Better fronts will give more problems.

Yes, the Pats gave up more 20 plus yard plays (3) than eight other teams in the league thus far (Cincy have already given up three and the Ravens one so there are only three other teams who could do better). The secondary was a siv. The secondary wasn't lights out, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some people make it.

The Giants got exposed. No way they're making the playoffs this year.

The J-E-T-S Jets on the other hand looked amazing. Book Stephen Hill's ticket to Hawaii.

The judge said my records are sealed. So I will plead the fifth on the OP's question.

As for the NFL, no one got exposed. It was opening weekend. A lot of freak games. No one knows what happened was a freak occurance and what is an omen of what is to come.

Remember in 2003, the Pats lost to the Bills 31-0. The Pats went 14-2 and won the Super Bowl and the Bills went 4-12.
