Jamie Harper ~ The Swing Back that I preferred to Stevan "You May Fire When Ready" Ridley in the 2012 Draft ~ took the ball once and racked 3 yards on the ground against us, yesterday.

Nice.

Here's to you, Stevan Ridley ~ to a long, successful run with us, and many...long, succesful runs!! :D

Let's not forget your Vereen infatuation either. I'll give him a pass for a little while until he gets on the field. Would love to see him take over for Woodhead.

I was worried about you when they took Mallett and Ridley back to back. Closest ive ever seen you to a meltdown with your usual positive self.

Crow pie is great sometimes. Everyone should try some from time to time.

Simmer down.

It's far too early to call my boy Vereen a Bust, so I don't know why you're even bringing'm up.

I'll eat my crow on Ridley too, didn't like the pick that much. I never thought he could be this dynamic of a runner, if he becomes better in between the tackles, he may someday top Dillon's 2004 season.

So serve me up some of the crow..... mmmmmmmmm I LUH THE TASTE

2011 offered an incredibly deep O Back Draft, and to be perfectly honest: There are several Backs that I thought ~ and continue to think ~ would've been far better Picks than our beloved Stevan Ridley.

But God knows he has proven to be far more demolishing than I expected. Well played, Brother Bill.

I eat my crow on Wilson.

Looking back at the BB draft classes, it's really apparent how things have turned around. Prior to the '09 draft only 2003 and 2005 have any shot at being a successfully deep class. '09 will never be a great class but still has some potential in Brace, Edelman, Pryor, Vollmer and Chung. But after '09 we are looking at three potentially great classes. 2010 speaks for itself, particularly if Cunningham continues as he's been doing this season and 2011 could (stressed) provide us with both starting tackles, our two leading RB's and our eventual Brady replacement and the 2012 class is starting off looking to be very promising.

We could be looking at three consecutive very strong classes.

Seems like I might be the only person who wasn't super impressed with Wilson yesterday, but he looked like he belonged out there, which is good enough for me.

Would you rather have one the "Three Stooges" instead?

Josh Barrett
Sergio Brown
James Ihedigbo

Of course not - he's an upgrade over what we had last year, but it would be hard not to be an upgrade over those guys. I thought he was fine, and I'm optimistic about him, but all that he proved yesterday, IMO, is that he's serviceable. Which is fine, because that's likely all that we need him to be for now.

Do you serve coffee with that crow?. BTW, my compliments to the chef.

Good shout. I had Solder and Vereen in my final prediction but you were one of the few (only) to identify Ridley.
I'm a HUGE SEC fan and Ridley was practically the entire LSU offense that season.

When it comes to RBs, I think BB is a HUGE SEC fan.

Edit: Which I'm hoping is a factor when TJ Yeldon becomes draft eligible #tooearly :bricks:

Oh, absolutely. Crow Pie wouldn't be complete without a rich, steaming cup of Brew. :D
