Positively gushes about his teamates and their mental toughness and effort. One interesting note when talking about his weapons in mentioning Edleman he talks about the three guys he beat out in camp "who aren't on the roster at this time" which sounds like he doesn't think the door is closed on one of them returning at some point.

I'll add a full transcript when one is posted as well as an audio link.

Yes, I thought it was interesting how he phrased that regarding the the WR's.

I usually put on WEEI while driving to work and usually change the station within 2 minutes.Today I said to myself "finally they will talk football and it will be baseball free". Bang! They have to bring up the speed of football thrown vs a baseball. Then bring up Mankins playing with injury vs a baseball player.

This is nit picking on my part, but you can tell that baseball is not far from their minds at all times. I am so sick of sports talk radio just whining about baseball -IT"S OVER! The real sport has now begun.

The Boston sportsmedia and scribes are just incapable of adjusting to the times. Felger had a ratings stat last week that was hilarious. CSSNE's Televised replay of BB's presser outdrew the Sox game. Granted the Sox game was a 10PM left coast event and the presser was a replay on at 7PM but still... LOL

Its very hard to listen to that and not get a chill. I don't think I've heard a player to just "gets it" so well. I just loved his response to the question about how important it was for him to pass Elway in career TD passes.

Its also amazing how entertaining and informative he is given he's taking mostly asinine questions from these 2 self serving jamokes.

Whit I like most about him is, despite the cover boy good looks, the supermodel wife, the immense wealth, the LA super mansion, and the athletic success; that he'd be an interesting fun guy to have a beer with. Maybe not as good as OTG, but I wouldn't say no if he asked me to join him for one. ;)

I thought it was funny when he called them baseball guys.

I didnt actually hear him say it so something could be lost in translation but I find it funny you keyed in on the at this time portion as I found the most interesting part to be how he was talking about Edelman being competive and the way I took was that he was bringing to light that Edleman just flat out beat these guys out for the position making them all expendable as 4th and 5th options that wound up going to STs Slater and a Prospect in Salas. I think we all figured Edleman still to be the prospect in the above equation and that the 3rd spot would be one of the cuts but Edelman earned the 3 and got some looks yesterday and came up with some grabs.

All that doesnt mean both things we read into one minor statement cant be true or we both could be overanalyzing.

Unless you're pushing a shopping cart around with all of your possessions on it, stop complaining. Even worse, you (or I) could have been a hydrogen sulfide cloud on Venus instead of a human being on the only known planet with intelligent life. The shorter answer is Brady earned and deserves what he has more than probably anybody else that lives in his neighborhood.
