Am I the only one that isn't watching the Super Bowl?

There is absolutely no way I can bring myself to do it. I couldn't sit there for 4 hours watching the 3 whiney *****es in the Super Bowl. I'll go rent some movies instead or dodge traffic, pretty much anything but watch the Super Bowl.

Nope. There's a couple of good movies I want to see. I'm not about to invest 4 hours of emotion into rooting for the Bears to pull the upset.

It's almost impossible for me to root for the bears. Grossman is one of the worst and ****iest qbs in the league. A combination that I never even imagined until now.

I guarantee I won't watch the whole thing. I'm going to volunteer tomorrow to work Feb 4 to get some OT. I give the Colts props for beating us but I'll be damned if I'm going to root, watch, jeer a team that cried it's way into the rule books and for a QB that says "let's just say we had problems with our pass protection today" Just can't do it.

I totally agree with you I will catch up on movies for sure I'm not interested in watching that game.

Are you kidding? Who doesn't want to watch the Illinois-Indiana Border War? I can't ******* wait.

The worst part is I go down to my father in law's bar every year and even when the Patriots aren't playing I enjoy hanging out with friends and eating alot of good food. Unfortunately it is inevitable that I'm going to look at the game at some point so I'm going to be forced to stay at home.

Same here... I have more productive things to do.

I have to work on my websites... and writing copy for my ads.

man, you guys are WEAK!

just man up and admit that we got beat fair and sqaure... BS penalties got called both ways

watch the game, pull for Indy and get over it. We can' win every year no matter how much we want it. At the end of the day, I wanna get knocked out by the champ, not by a chump

effing whiny, I can't take this site tonite except it's hilarious watching the whiners

I'll watch it. But it's gonna be cold turkey for me and the NFL. Not here, I'll still be here. And I'll be watching NFLN's senior bowl coverage. But pre super bowl stuff, count me out. But I will watch the game.

It has more to do with the fact that I have hated Dungy, Manning and Polian since day one more than it does that they beat us tonight. I absolutely loathe them for all of the complaining they have done in the past to get the rules changed to their liking and I for one won't watch. But you can interpret it however you would like.

What really sux for me is it's on my birthday. Happy freakin' birthday.
This will be the first SB I don't watch in I can't remember how long. No way the Bears win. I knew that before the AFCC game started. There's no reason to watch.

Whose saying they didn't get there fair and square?

I hear ya. We're celebrating my son's first birthday on that day and all I could think about was celebrating his birthday and then sitting down to watch the Patriots in the super bowl.

Yeah, well I'm watching. Obviously it won't be as festive an occasion as I thought it would be, but the Colts played a hell of a game, didn't fold up, came back after being down 18 points, and basically earned the right to play in the Big One.

I don't know whether I have a dog in the fight or not, but I can't see missing the crowning moment of this season (for someone).

Still have to say, I want my Lombardi back. But it'll have to wait a year.

I'm doing the cold turkey thing too. Out of habit I keep turning on the NFL Network, and after about thirty seconds I have to turn it off. I guess I'll have to start watching the news and broadening my horizons now.

people should watch this superbowl, no black head coach has ever coached in the superbowl, now we're going to see two in the same year, that combined with the peyton choke factor, the rex choke factor, the game definately has some intrigue to it.

Please don't drag the whole "first black head coach in a super bowl" crap into this thread. Please don't.

I can't honestly root for the Colts or Bears. Hate the Colts too much and the Bears seem vastly overrated to me for some reason.

I will watch some of the Superbowl but I won't be glued to the set or anything like that.

Sooner, some posters are complaining like we were destined to win, that's who I'm ranting against

Not watching because your team didn't make it is LAME and proves you are not a fan of hte game, just your logo depending on the circumstances

I'm pissed that we lost but to not watch is the sorest thing ever... you might as well just admit to ladanian that you are as classless as he says. We lost fair and square, gave up a lead like we NEVER do...

I hate the Colts too, but don't you want to know you were beaten by the best??? better than being beaten by KC, right???

I don't think we are in a rebuilding year, we just lost the game... it sucks but that's what it is. You all have no idea how thankful I am that the refs didn't give away this game.... Let's just be proud of our boys, they played hard all year and lost in the final minute of a playoff game. 29 other teams wish they could say the same
