I know everyone has noticed it, Im pretty surprised there hasn't been a thread on him already. He has done close to nothing for at least the last 6 weeks. Every play he gets the ball that isn't a screen he usually dances left, dances right, then gets stopped at or near the line of scrimmage. I don't know if it's his technique, coaching, or what, but he has not been productive. It's pretty ridiculous when I want to see Faulk or Evans with the ball more than our 1st round rookie.

He needs to improve his game a lot next year.

He hit the wall, and didn't adapt well to a full NFL season. I think he'll steadily improve next year. I'm more worried about Chad Jackson than Maroney.

um..you need to dance to try to get out of backfield when theres guys in your face when u get the ball..

OL cant run block. simple

Hey Laurence, you are not Barry Sanders..... take the dancing down a notch.

um yeah, he had a HUGE play tonite. we were beaten, not because of him. just go away

You can't attribute 8 runs for 13 yards against the worst run D to the Oline. Our oline is fine. I'm not saying he's a bust, but I'm really concerned for pretty much the entire day one of our 2006 draft class.

Out of the first round running backs selected, Maroney has been the least productive, especially the 2nd half of the season. Hopefully it's just adjusting to the NFL, but after these last few weeks, I'm skeptical.

This isn't about tonight, and obviously it wasn't about him. What a convincing argument though!

There was no room for Maroney to run tonight. The Colts got good penetration against the run. Give credit where it is due. Somehow Dungy schemed a way to stop the run. Sanders also played out of his mind tonight.

take away dillons 35 yarder and he has 6 carries 13 yards..not much different

i saw Maroney get swallowed in backfield about 4 times..not his fault. watch the film and you'll see

I realize that, but comparing a 32 year old vet that has logged 11000 yards, with a 21 year old rookie is a bit of a stretch.

check how LJ did..the 2nd best RB?

my point is the Colts D played very well or our run blocking was non existant.
